Detroit
East Side
It was just after 2am on the east side of Detroit. Some of the clubs were starting to find down and close, and the streets were awash with young, most of which intoxicated. With the promise of after partying until the crack of dawn and making the most of their weekends off, a small percentage were out on the hunt for something to further fuel their party; that little something they couldn't buy over the counter at the club.
Two young women, 21 and 23, approached the dealer. They were old hands at this; with little more than a brief greeting, money was slipped into the dealers hand, who pointed them down the street. He took a look around, and began to move to another location, trying to keep on the move. The girls meanwhile, continued down the street, and a second man street out from the shadows, slipping them a baggie. He disappeared as quickly as he'd appeared, and was off to join his partner at the next location.
That was of course, until a dark sedan speed past. Paying little attention to the vehicle, the man was cut down with automatic weapons fire from the passenger seat as the car sped by. He was dead before he even hit the ground.
An early morning call to 911 from a bystander brought the ambulance from William Beaumont Hospital to the east side of Detroit, to attend an alleged gang related shooting. Upon arrival the paramedic had cut away the man's shirt to examine and treat the gunshot wounds, and were greeted with a strange wound on the victims stomach; a deeply carved X. A gold tattoo on his forehead, seemingly made of solid gold, further added confusion to the situation.
Knowing this was out of their league, the local PD were notified, who informed the FBI. Within hours, a report and travel papers had made their way to the HQ of the Department of Homeworld Security at Peterson Air Force Base, Colorado.
