Stargate Academy
Rec Room
Azalea had arrived early, just because there was nothing else to do before this movie night. Billie had planned an one last time Woorah before all the cadets went their separate ways; both for the summer and towards a new chapter. It was going to be a bittersweet time to say the least. Shannon and Michael had both graduated and already had their assignments where they were headed to next.
It was going to be interesting next year without either of them to there. Shannon had been here with Azalea the longest out of all the girls. Though they had hardly talked that much, the cadet always looked up to the older female. She valued Shannon's input on situations a lot. While with Michael, it was just going to be weird seeing Centaurus without him. Since the start of her time here at the Academy, Michael had always been in charge of SGA-2. He was the fearless leader that she always looked up to. Now without him there, Centaurus was going to get a new leader. Just that thought a long was weird. Change was something that never really sat well with this young female. It was something that was always hard to swallow, but it was always something that came whether one liked it or not.
Opening the door to the Rec Room, the young woman could see that she was the first to arrive. Walking in, the cadet grabbed a deck of cards off the shelf, walked over the couch in the room, sat down, pulling the table in the middle of the room close. Opening the deck of cards, Azalea slid them out and began shuffling. While she sat there shuffling, the mind traveled to how she was going to spend these summer days. Breaks was never an easy thing for this female, especially when this year, there was no where for her to go. There was no family for her to go back home to. After finding her real parents, they made it clear that they never wanted to see her again. Every year Azalea would appear in front of their door, knocking to see them, but always got, "We told you we never want to see you again. We left you on the steps of the orphanage for a reason," and a slam door in the face. It was always a hard blow to take, but one that was getting use to. When she had found Isaac and his family again,, that was where she stayed, but now with him gone, it would just be too hard. Maybe she would go for a week but not the whole summer. It looked like she was stuck here for the whole summer unfortunately.
The cadet sat there starting a lone game of solitaire while waiting for the others. Though it was going to be a bitter night, the sweet part was that, hopefully, Ken was going be here. Maybe this was going to be the night the night everything got out in the the open. Just thinking about him caused a small smile to cross her face. It was a month since the Paris thing and she still thought about him the same way, as frustrating that was. Just as she lost the game, the door opened. Azalea looked up to see who the next person was to enter while reshuffling the deck.
