Gate Room
After examining her flag and hearing her explanation, he nodded, knowing that some change was definitely good, even if merely for aesthetics. He helped stack a few of his unsealed crates onto a dolly as Dr. Fawkes continued her inventory. As soon as that particular dolly was full, he took off his military issue duffle and set it on top. For the time being, they were all headed to the same place. After several more looks around the room, he failed to see Troy or any other commanding figure who would be able to tell Ian where he would rest his head at night. After all, he was pretty sure Troy knew exactly where to find him when the time came.
After readjusting his bag so it would not fall off, Morgan grabbed his attention again, this time by holding out a white lab coat. Positively beaming, he accepted the uniform jacket. Looking it over, he brushed his thumb along the flag of his homeland. After a brief moment, he slipped off his rolled-sleeve shirt and replaced it with the coat. It fit like a charm. "Well, this is very nice. It seems as though they finally allotted a decent amount to the uniform budget. This is excellent compared to the rags we wore during the first months out here. Thank you." With that, he followed her off to the infirmary.

During the brief walk a few levels down, he was separated from his new comrade by several camo-covered bodies and the loaded dollies of medical supplies. It was not until they arrived at the infirmary again that they were even within earshot of each other.
"I must say that this is definitely an upgrade," Ian remarked as he approached her, glancing around at the complex. In addition to the machinery and bedspace brought from Earth, there were several permanently installed areas, originally built and placed by none other than the Ancients. The thought was a marvel, that many millenia before, the Ancients used medicine far more advanced than their own now. Well, at least they could borrow the city's technology, which would help make things SO much more easier than they were a few years ago.
"Seeing as I don't really have my bearings, I'll let you lead the way, Doctor. Put me to work." His grin had not quite disappeared from several minutes before when he received his new jacket. Granted, he felt that might not entirely be the reason for his semi-permanent smile.
