Detailed Description:
I would like the permission of the other mods and administrator to possibly do a very emotional ORP that will help in the healing process for those who have lost loved ones.
I hadn't realized that I made Kat's father's background my dad's. After the current mission, I would like to do this:
Katrina finds out that her father has passed away and needs to return to Virginia for the funeral. She leaves alone, but is possibly followed by those that want to be there for support.
This would give me an opportunity to actually re-inact what really happened to me. I know, I know, it'll just rehash things and I'll just get all upset. But, I can also go back and reflect on it and be even more proud of him as it would be a military funeral with just one small difference. Kat would also be in full uniform.
The title also has a background. My dad has the song My Way played at his retirement and it fits perfectly. I couldn't use "Wind Beneath My Wings" as that is my song to him and is too emotional. Plus, I'm doing something extra special with that song later.
If you don't feel this is a good idea, please don't approve it. I won't be upset. This is something I'm asking to do for me, no one else. And if anyone is interested in being in it, let me know.
I know we're supposed to do ORPs with 2 or more people, but if no one wants to, I also ask that maybe, just this once, you might allow for me to have this RP to myself to write the story. I welcome anyone who would want to join, but I also wouldn't mind writing it on my own too.
I wouldn't start this until the current mission and ORP with Kim is finished.
