Congressional Fleet Medallion

Presented on behalf of personnel who make the ultimate sacrifice while in the service of Task Force Ida.

Fleet Flying Cross

[/u]

Awarded to any officer or enlisted member who distinguishes himself or herself in combat in support of operations by "heroism or extraordinary achievement" while participating in an aerial flight.

Medal of Valor[/u]

Presented to any crew member whom while operating in support of combat operations displays "heroism or extraordinary achievement".

Distinguished Service Medal[/u]

For members of the ships engineering and technical crew who perform their duties in a fashion deemed to be "heroism or extraordinary achievement".

Fleet Air Medal[/u]

The Air Medal is awarded to any person who, while serving in any capacity in or with the military, shall have distinguished himself/herself by meritorious achievement while participating in aerial flight.

Meritorious Achievement Medal[/u]

Presented to Ida Task Force personnel who while serving as crew members aboard the Icarus carry out their duties in a manner considered well above and beyond expectations of them.

Superior Service Award[/u]

For engineering or flight deck personnel assigned who are seen to make an extraordinarily valuable contribution to the ongoing operations of the vessel.

Combat Launch Award[/u]

Awarded to pilot and any associated crew for each successful combat launch and/or landing under enemy fire.

Prisoner of War Medal[/u]

The Prisoner of War Medal may be awarded to any person who was taken prisoner or held captive while engaged in an action against an enemy; while engaged in military operations involving conflict with an opposing Armed Force; or while serving with friendly forces engaged in armed conflict against an opposing Armed Force in which the Ida Task Force is not a belligerent party.

Deployment Ribbon[/u]

The Deployment Ribbon is awarded for successful active service in a mission from inception to completion.

First Contact Medal[/u]

Presented to all personnel who participated in Icarus trial mission.
