Asgard High Council Chamber
"With what weapons will you humans use, you may think you saved us with the replicators," Idun replied. "But without us, your vessel wouldn't even be here. You would not have your cruisers or even your planet. You are not here to demand Admiral, this is 'Our' galaxy. Not yours, the Ori are in your galaxy, not ours. We have helped you with that problem, perhaps we should divert all resources back home?" Again, the Admiral bit his lip and the rebuttal that was building up. Truth was, without the Asgard the humans would be in a far worst place, and the same was true for the Asgard - had General O'Neill not made first contact, they'd have been in a darker place right now. I guess we just agree to disagree!
Even with it monotonous unchanged tone, Dean could tell the Asgard was becoming annoyed at his insistence to speak with the council. Hell, he was probably annoyed at the fact he had even been assigned to work on the Icarus; whatever he had done in his past to end up with that duty interested Dean, but it would wait for another time, Right now he had crew to rescue. After a correspondence with the council in his native tongue, Idun turned to Dean. "The council has agreed to rescue your people." Looking up at the Asgard sitting high and mighty into their council chairs high above the floor where Dean and Idun stood, the Admiral offered a half wave. "Thank you.."
With that, the two left the council chamber through the doors they had entered through, and regrouped with Colonel Harrison. "I will leave for the Hákonarmál now. Alert me when your ship is repaired enough to join." Idun said coldy, before wandering off down a hallway, presumably toward his awaiting ship. Dean opened a communications channel to the Icarus and requested beaming for himself and Harrison. He had a call to make.
