Crew Lounge
Taking a sip of his coffee, Colonel Robert Walker sat deep in thought in the Icarus's combination lounge and mess hall. His first time out with SD-3 since returning from the Ida Galaxy, the Marine was yet again stuck on a ship instead of traveling by gate. The team was on a support mission on their way to Atlantis as part of a new joint service program, kind of an exchange of personnel. Major Evan Lorne and his team had arrived at the Delta Site just prior to SD-3's departure. It was supposed to foster better understanding for the various different missions SGC personnel are involved in.
His team make-up was now different yet again, which he had expected upon returning. His long-time XO was somewhere on the ship, having been spending a lot of time alone as of late. The two have been seeing each other for some time now, unbeknownst to most of the bases's personnel. Now-Major Katrina Logan had evolved from a nervous, faint young woman to a strong, determined medical professional who would do anything for her team mates.
Walking in the door just then came two other team members. The younger one was Marcus Garret, an Air Force Technical Sergeant who served in Intelligence and as a SERE instructor prior to his assigment to Delta, and a long-time SD-3 member. The other man was Ethan DeVoss, a Navy SEAL commando whose explosives expertise was surpassed only by his tactical knowledge. Having been on SD-3 in the past, the Force Reconnaissance Colonel knew DeVoss's work well.
Waving them over, the full-bird called, "I won't kill you yet fellas ... Have a seat." Walker also wondered where Katrina was, as well as the new member of the team, Erin Stuit. The latter was a bit of a wildcard; Robert had never worked with or heard of the Australian until General Kepler had assigned her to him. The base commander's reasoning was that the team needed a technical and communications expert, and since Robert 'would shoot NID team members without hesitation', the Petty Officer was placed as such. Walker was, however, impressed with her record he was currently reviewing over his coffee.
