During a recent moment of reflection I created an infographic showing the episodes each team and squadron took part in.
The 'L' between seasons two and three is the Legacy of the Asgard movie event. It was followed by the Rebellion movie event, but as that did not use traditional teams, it has been omitted. In season three all the teams were completely redone, with SD-1 made up mostly with personnel from SD-3 and SD-5, and SD-2 being a bit more mixed-bag.
Happy twelfth birthday Stargate Delta.

- Base Personnel: membership was always in flux, and during season two, we experimenting only giving the base storylines when they suited the plot. The destruction of the base in episode 15 also meant we used this group less during season two.
- SD-1 First Contact/Exploration: the first two seasons were basically the same core 4-5 people with occasional new members. It was great to develop friendships with these people over such a long time.
- SD-2 Science/Medicine: a number of key personnel were promoted into Homeworld Command for episodes 15-17, during which the team was placed on hiatus. Otherwise they were a constant fixture on the expedition roster.
- SD-3 Special Operations/Search & Rescue: Like SD-1, the membership of this team was very consistent throughout their run. I always regret that we never got SD-3 back up and running during season three.
- SD-4 Tactical/Strategic Operations: I was surprised to see that this team was formed so early, and that it continued without interruption despite its membership changing a number of times.
- SD-5 Reconnaissance/Combat Operations: the team had two distinct periods; during season one it was an almost exclusively combat focused team under Lieutenant Colonel Johnson, before becoming a multi-mission team in season two under Commander Garcia.
- SD-6 Diplomatic/Cultural Relations: regulars during season two despite regularly changing team members.
- 301st Tactical Fighter Squadron, 302nd Space Fighter Squadron, 22nd Space Deployment Group, and Task Force Ida: 301TFS and 302SFS were our original two F-302 fighter squadrons, which were merged into the 22SDG, which in season two became TF Ida. The 22SDG had a one-off revival in season three for old times’ sake when we faced off against a major Olympian fleet.
- SD-7 Intelligence/Operations Support: the team had two outings, and inherited the colours of 302SFS, which was fitting given that they were led by a pilot.
- SD-8 Engineering/Mission Support: were put in the field once (episode 13), which was the sites biggest episode with 13 teams active! Like SD-7, they were led by a pilot and inherited the colours of a former fighter squadron.
- Homeworld Command: HWC was actually two teams, Dulles Team and Hoover Team, which were based on Earth. They completed a single storyline which spanned three episodes.
- SGA-1 and SGA-2: the two main Stargate Academy teams were made up of cadets and midshipmen. SGA-1 was without enough senior cadets in episode 6 and was placed on temporary hiatus. All the SGA teams were stood down at the start of season three in preparation for their move to a new, separate SGA roleplay site.
- SGA-3, SGA-4, and SGA-5: further cadet and midshipmen teams used as necessary. Interesting to see the spike in numbers during episode 10, our first graduation ceremony.
Happy twelfth birthday Stargate Delta.
