on another note...I've been having problems with the internet at home....we have a wireless system, and both computers can connect to the network, but only one computer will connect to the Internet. Now, we just got a new modem last week when we got the internet hooked up, but we have the same wireless device. I can't even get on the net with my ipod while another computer is connected. Has anyone heard of something like this?n We've called out internet provider and they said it's not a problem with their device....

Cara, so you've got your 'modem' and a router as well? If your modem is a modem/router then just ditch the old one you were using, otherwise send me a PM with as much details you can give me about what you've got and I'll help ya out

From what I've worked out its probably two conflicting routers 2 Routers = 1 Unhappy Network

ok...I fixed it....see...what we had hooked up was the modem and the wireless (which my roommates says is a wireless router...but I have my doubts).....so I fixed it by hooking up a router, one with ports at the back for multiple computers (the wireless one doesn't have ports at the back) and now it works on all computers..

Arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhh My cats are making me insane. My old cat has a toothache and wont be taken care of until 1100 am tomorow. So she is very very very needy. My post just took me over an hour cause she jumps up walks across the keyboard at about 3 minute intervals until I go lie down let her sit next to me and rub her head for her. And no I cant lie on my side and see TV or stomach and use the laptop.

Then she is fine for about 15 minutes Then she either comes back to want head rubbing or sits there and makes this noise. It sounds like a 3 year old playing violin.

Add the young cat to this who sometimes thinks she should sing along well its nice.

Oh and the young cat hasn't got it in her head that big kitty does not want to play so occasionally you hear some sounds from old kitty that can only be the foulest curse words in kitty land.

Ditto on that. For me its normally around food times. The younger one wants to fight for food, the older just stands there hissing not having any of it. Its quite funny to watch.
