Originally constructed by the Russians 2005 as part of the Gate Treaty, the BC-303B Battle Cruiser Icarus takes a number of developments from the BC-304 and incorporates them into the 303's space frame. Captured en route to the Delta Site by Ba'al and left for dead, the ship was recovered by expedition personnel and has since returned from it's first tour of duty into the Asgard's Ida Galaxy. A recent overhaul by the Asgard added a number of offensive and defensive systems not found on any other Earth battle cruiser. Now the cruiser sets off on her second tour of duty, this time unaware of the reemergence of an ancient Asgard enemy, set to disrupt the balance of power in the Ida Galaxy.
