People say that no matter what you are now.. in another universe you could be something totally different.. Some universes are small changes like USA would be United States Of England just because something changed in its history. Or something bigger like dolphins rule Earth. So many things change.

Gate Ops

Andrew closed the book, why the hell was he reading this sort of crap. Putting the book in his vest pocket in case the meet and greet mission on the planet was going to be boring. Technically the team was mixed.. something about different cultures to make the mission easier.. But it seemed he had command. The Gate was dialling.. It was one of his first missions being in this galaxy. He hoped someone would come out of this.


OOC: Ok to rephrase whats going on

for eg.. Andrew steps through the gate... the strike hits the other gate.. creating a massive shockwave it catches the signal of the people and through them on the same planet but different universe..

Peoples memory will start degrading as nothing protects you.. they start forgetting but they dial deltra and get nothing.. so they realise the lightning has given them enough power they dial Earth... and once they step through they forget everything.. only people with the Gene will realise whats really going on.. but by flashbakcs and dreams and stuff..

Dale walked into the gate ops room thinking on the mission at hand usally these great and meets tend to go the wrong way but it didn't effect Dale at the present time he looked around and saw the gate dialing which he never got tired of seeing. Walking further into the gate ops he noticed Andrew the person hey met before back at the academy. Dale laughed to himself as he kept walking he quickly walked up towards Andrew. "Major Schreyer reporting in sir." Dale explained he held a carbine in his hands he usally went for the P-90 weapon but this time Dale chose the carbine though it didn't really worry Dale he turned to Andrew. "So what are we suspecting at the greet and meet sir?" Dale added in as he checked his carbine.

Lola stepped through the blast doors into the Gate Room, happy to be doing some leg work for a change. As much as she loved being in the air, she also loved the ground work and jumped at the opportunity for this mission. You only signed up because Andrew's going her mind jeered at her, which she quickly silenced. With her P90 clipped to her black BDUs, she strode up to Andrew and Dale, a small smile gracing her lips "Reporting, Colonel Johnson, Major Schreyer". She made sure to keep her tone formal for appearances sake, she did not want any more rumours flying than already were, not to mention the whole sleeping her way to the top comments she had been getting.

Nolen looked at his watch. Time to go He thought as he got up. He walked to the gate room from his room. Having some unofficial SAS training nolen thought this would be a chance to stretch his legs after being couped up waiting for the next mission. Walking through the blast doors he noticed two more men and a woman, one was Major Schreyer, he meet him before. The other was a colonel that he had no idea about. The woman was non other than Nolen's friend Lola. He walked up to them "Reporting in Colonel, Major. G'day Lola" Nolen fiddled with his vest and his M-40. "Greet and Meet hey, sounds fun"Nolen notice Lola was struggling with something on her mind. Probably her relationship Nolen thought. Nolen just sat tight waiting for the order to go through the gate. Even though he'd been through it many times before he still got butterflies in his stomach from it.

"Major Schreyer reporting in sir." "So what are we suspecting at the greet and meet sir?" Dale said to him

"Hmmm, Hey Dale. Oh small village type of people that think that something or other is great.. you know usual" he replied checking his SR-25. He had a twenty round mag in place. He liked the SR-25 part carbine, part sniper rifle.

"Reporting, Colonel Johnson, Major Schreyer". he noticed her tone was formal. He just gave her a quick glance. "Flight Lieutenant. I didn't know I was getting flyers on this mission" he said with a tone of surprise, he still wasn't comfortable here. Frankly he pretty much never answered his door. He had been keeping his distance, except for Dale who somehow kept coming in somehow.

"Reporting in Colonel, Major. G'day Lola" another flyer said. "Yeah Hi" he replied back wondering why the flyers weren't in their fighter craft.

Gate Ops

After finishing suiting up for the mission Kevin headed down to the Gate-room where he was supposed to meet his fellow 'team-mates' for this mission. He had heard that a new Colonel was in charge and Kevin only hoped that it would all go over well. Walking into the Gate-room, "First Lieutenant Kevin Phillips reporting for duty, Sir!" He said as he snapped a salute. Kevin wasn't quite sure what this mission was about, all he knew was that he was the only Marine on the team, so far anyway.

After Johnson had returned the salute Kevin relaxed slightly as he stood there quietly, awaiting their orders to move out. He wasn't very comfortable with being teamed up with an entire group of Aussies, seeing how he had never really worked with them before and he hoped that they were trained somewhat like the soldiers of the United States. Kevin had volunteered for this mission when it was first announced, not even knowing what it was about or who was going, but he enjoyed being off-world so any chance to go through the gate was great for him.

"Reporting, Colonel Johnson, Major Schreyer". "Reporting in Colonel, Major. G'day Lola" Dale herd both Lola and Nolen speak to him as they entered the gate room. Dale turned to Andrew. "Well mate you know how these things are. These kind of mission are normally more than just a greet and meet." Dale smiled back he noticed Kevin walking into the gate room. Dale turned towards Kevin. This is turning into a good team. Dale thought to himself as he watched the gate spinning and the chevrons lock into place. "Chevron four encoded." Dale turned as he herd the tech guy say that the fourth chevron was encoded. Dale waited inside the gate room he looked back at the door to aee if anyone else was comming onto the mission at hand.

Another person walked in through the blast doors. Fully kitted up, FN P90 clipped to his BDU's. He called out to the room,
"Staff Sergeant Steve Cormac Reporting In for the mission. Now the party has started!"
He walked over to join the crew and nodded to them all, noting Kevin Phillips, Dale Schreyer, Andrew Johnson, Nolen and Lola. He smiled to himself. Good bunch of people.
"Standard meet and greet then, any photos or autographs? Or am I just not that famous around this galaxy yet?" Cormac said cockily. He liked to joke about. It was his thing. He watch another chevron of the gate dail up. He loved that big old ring. This should be fun. He thought.

[Destiny "Silverwing" Andre]

Destiny walked around the Delta site with Azalea tagging along. She wanted time with her sister in hopes to bring them closer. She got permission for Azalea to spend sometime with her in between missions, to show her what she does and also for them to get to know each other. But than, she was asked to join a special Mission. She got clearing for Azalea to tag along who was less than happy. In fact, Azalea wasn't happy at all during this time.

"Azalea will you hurry up?! We are suppose to be there now!" Des exclaimed turning around crossing her arms impatiently at her little sister. Azalea just walked like she didn't have a care in the world. "Chill out Des. I'm sure not EVERYONE is there yet," she said glaring at her sister.

Des rolled her eyes sighing. "Look will you just pick up the pace?" she asked walking again. The truth was she knew Kevin was going to be there and wanted to see him again. They hadn't seen each other for a while now and though they were going to be around ours, just to be near him was enough.

Azalea rolled her eyes disgusted at her sister. Though she was kind of hoping to see Steve there. She only agreed to this trip with her sister because she wanted to see Steve again. She knew they probably wouldn't able to hang out but she didn't care.

"Geez Azalea!! Did someone put lead into your shoes?" Destiny asked looking back impatiently at her sister again. Azalea clenched her fists and glared back. "No. Why don't you just admit it. You are in a hurry to see your boyfriend," she said smirking.

Des stopped and glared at her sister. But it was hard to do with them being the same height. Azalea smirked as she passed her sister. "What did I touch a nerve there?" she asked tucking her hands into her back pockets.

Destiny took a deep breath walking beside her sister. Both of them almost looking like twins with how alike they looked. "If you say a word about that during this mission I swear I will.." she started to say.

Azalea looked over at in a bored tone. "What ground me? You might be my sister and an officer BUT you don't have THAT kind of authority over me," she said shaking her head. Des glared at her. "Just stop with the tone young lady," she muttered to Azalea.

"Who made you my mother? I've done fine without one for the past years and I will continue to do so!" she snapped at her sister. Destiny glared at her sister still walking. "Will you just try to act like you want to be my sister! I'm trying my hardest here Azalea but you are.. but she was interrupted by Azalea. "DES!" she shouted to her sister.

"WHAT?!" she shouted back at Azalea. "Watch out for the..." but it was too late. Destiny ran smacked dab into the door leading to the Gate ops. Azalea smirked shrugging her shoulders. "You could have warned me!" Destiny exclaimed glaring at her opening the door. "I tried but you were renting too loudly!" she said walking through the door.

Both sisters walked in side by side. But it was Destiny who spoke up first. "Captain Destiny Andre and Cadet Airman Azalea Andre reporting," Destiny stated smiling at everyone but Azalea could tell it was a stress smile.

Azalea rolled her eyes walking to the side leaning up against the wall just watching and becoming invisible; which she was good at. Destiny shook her head at her sister than walked over to Kevin and the others. "Hey," she said smiling at Kevin than grinned at Lola and the other,"hello all! Are we ready for this?"

Azalea shook her head rolling her eyes at her sister. She crossed her arms over her body wishing she was anywhere but her sisters presence.

Kevin turned his head slightly when he heard both Destiny and Azalea coming down the hallway. He chuckled to himself as he watched them walk in and he smiled as Destiny walked over to him, "Ma'am." He said simply as he nodded his head in her direction. Although they were now officially a couple he still showed respect to her when they were on-duty. Glancing over he saw Azalea in the corner and chuckled slightly, "This is going to be on interesting mission..." He thought to himself.

After a few moments he glanced back over at Destiny and he noticed how stressed she seemed. He wasn't going to mention anything now though. Although he could tell that she was going to blow at any moment. "Don't worry, you two will get along soon enough." He said with a small smile, trying to cheer her up slightly. He knew it was never good when Destiny was upset, now having 'two' Destiny's on base could be interesting. Especially since he knew how bad of a temper her little sister had. Not the girl you would want on your bad side, especially not with this job.

Kevin rolled his eyes slightly when he heard Steve announce his presence, "Its Marines like him that give us a bad name..." He thought to himself as he nodded his head in Steve's direction. Since they were working together he knew that they had to get along, at least somewhat.

Steve shot a glance in Kevins direction. He then caught site of Azalea and everything seemed to stop. He remembered back on the camping trip what had happened. Steve felt himself blushing and thought, No Damnit, No! He caught her eye and then looked at the floor. He cleared his throat and seemed to be lost for words. He looked up, composed at last.
Steve began whistling and slowly paced across the room towards where Azalea stood.
Okay Steve... Whistling? .. Oh come on.... He could be a bit of an idiot at times. Steve glanced up to the see the gate dailing.
"Chevron Six Encoded."

Destiny just sighed at what Kevin said. "I wish but she is like the wicked witch of the west," she muttered hoping that she was quiet enough that Azalea wouldn't hear. She was trying everything she could just to make Azalea and her get along. But it seemed the harder she tried the farther away Azalea pushed her. Maybe this mission was what they needed. Because now there was people around to distract them from each other.

"You only wish Steve," Destiny said smirking at Steve. She looked from him and azalea carefully, catching the eye contact between the two. And now Steve moving closer to his sister. She than shook her head. Azalea might be her sister, but she wasn't her babysitter. Whatever, if anything, was going on with her and Steve, it was Azaleas business. She was just trying to find common ground with her sister. With the way things were going now, if she questioned it, Azalea would just break everything off.

Destiny sighed beside Kevin, wishing they were off duty so she could hold his hand or something. She leaned her head against the wall closing her eyes and letting out a deep sigh. This is going to be one interesting mission. Hopefully Azalea and I don't lose it, she thought to herself.

Azalea looked over at her sister and glared hearing her comment but kept her thoughts to herself. She was surrounded by basically all officers. She had to show respect, even some to her...sister. She sighed closing her eyes, resting her head against the wall. Why did I ever agree to being with my sister? Why did I ever to find out about my family she thought to herself actually wishing she was back at the Academy. At least there, she surrounded by friends.

She opened her eyes hearing a familiar voice and looked over seeing Steve there. She felt her heart pace quicken and her breath catch in her throat. She thought about to the camping trip and realized that from that moment, she couldn't get him out of her mind. She looked away with a small smile on her face. She took a deep breath trying to calm down whatever was going inside of her at this second.

She looked back over to see him coming her way. She bit her lip keeping her arms around her body trying to think of something to get her out of this. She glared slightly at her sister when they caught each other's gaze and smirked as Destiny just shook her head looking away. Azalea looked up at Steve confused hearing his comment and just nodded. She didn't know exactly what to say or do...especially with others around. "Hey....how are you doing?" she said softly just trying to make conversations. She jammed her hands into her back pockets, trying to stop them from shaking.

Steve leant on the wall next to Azalea and looked around absently. He had been thinking of her alot. And to see her now was just great, but he couldn't show any emotion of course. Damn the military and their rules and regulations, if he had it his way they'd be back at his qaurters already.
"Hey... how ya doing?" He heard her say. Cormac was stuck for words. Why was this so awkward!

Fortunatly he did not have to reply as he heard the gate tech speak.
"Chevron Seven.. Locked!".The Stargate dailed up and the familiar blue wormhole exploded from it. The gate was active! Cormac looked up at it and smiled. He looked down at Azalea and smiled at her. He winked and nodded towards the gate,
"Come on, lets go kick some ass." He put his hands absently on top of his P90 to keep them busy. The team started moving towards the gate, heading out to this meet and greet session.

Kevin couldn't help but laugh at Destiny's comment, "Then I guess that makes you Dorthy." He said with a grin as he glanced in Destiny's direction, wishing that he could wrap his arms around her and tell her that everything would be okay. Instead he fiddled with the strap that was hanging on his neck and attached to his P90. Glancing back over at Steve he saw the man glare at him, but he ignored it, not wanting to start anything.

Kevin watched as the other man walked toward Azalea and he noticed the eye contact the two made, there was defiantly something going on there, but he wasn't going to say anything. He shrugged his shoulders slightly as he turned away from the two, not wanting to get involved. He let his gaze rest on Destiny who was now leaning against the wall, "This is why we carry zats on us, one of our teammates get annoying we shoot 'em once." He said in a sarcastic tone, trying to cheer her up.
