Robert obviously under the influence of the Hiridrium X substance was trying to be as normal as possible but clearly it was starting to affect him. His heart was starting to race again and little comments here and there were starting to aggitate him. Having heard the Lieutenant's response, obviously he knew that there was starting to be a rift and that the last thing that needed to happen right there and then. He pulled the Lieutenant aside and side "Lieutenant, I appreciate you for coming here and obviously you know more about this rescue operation more than we do, but we have been here for about 5 months now like you said and we have picked up a couple of intel here and there. The Explosion was rigged before you guys came, we were also trying to get out of here or hurt their efforts so it wasn't done to hurt a rescue effort from you guys. Thank you for the rescue, this is your Operation, I am going to let you do your job . . . right now I am one of the boys, don't just be timid about using me, you point where i need to be and I will be there. Sorry for the shortness earlier, what do you need from me Lieutenant?"

Cromin waited for a response from the Lieutenant and watched the hallway from behind. He turned to Alek and said, "just in case we needed to go rescue the other officers, your technological brilliance will be needed, how on point are you with regards to Nidhogg technology and physically, how are you, i never did ask before. God knows we need you healthy because bullets might not solve the problem we are in." He looked at Abi and all the others and could not believe that they were all finally heading home, if somehow they can survive all the hoopla going on.

"With all respect sir," Alek called from the back of the group. "Shouldn't we stick together. The Captain is the only one who know these hallways, we will become quickly lost if we split up again?"

"alright you hear the man, we have our orders." Turning to Nolen, Cromin who was jittering from the Hiridrium X he was now addicted to said "Which team do you want me to lead sir?"

Nolen had no idea why he had suggested that, and Alek had picked it out. "My russian friend I think you are right. I have no idea why I suggested that" he said then looked at the others. "Sorry guys lets stick together" he said rephrasing his previous orders. Nolen had started to doubt his judgement and this was just another example.

“Umm… You guys ok…?

”

"Sir its help, can't you see, have you got a ship tell me you've got a ship? we're still missing people though can you help us?" "Captain Robert Cromin, United States Air force, identify yourself.

"

Nolen turned around after stopping to decide which corridor to turn down. A smile crosses his face. "Foster, is the rest of SD-5 here?" Nolen said relieved to see the rescue team. Nolen then heard Cromin behind him then Davidson. "Captain, Stand down" He ordered the former pilot.

“Lieutenant Tim Foster,” made a motion towards the other two, “Kendra and Sergeant O’Connell, all SD5.”
He turned towards the fast talking man, “Yeah, we’ve got a jumper, let’s get you to safety first and then we can go look for the others” “Now with all due respect to any possible superior officers; we need to move out of here. Come on, this way.

”

Nolen looked at Foster and agreed with him. "We are still missing two officers and another pilot who has been brainwashed" Nolen said to Tim giving him the info he had, then the ship rocked and he froze but not for the fact that everyone would of thought of. He just couldn't move, he wanted to but his body just wouldn't move.

"Aliens got ADD and left," Abi explained to SD-5, "Seriously…they just got distracted and all walked away. I’m not really sure what happened." "They communicate telepathically with their Queen," Kamarov added, unsure how much the team knew about the bugs. "Her intentions are rarely known to us."
"How long has it been?" he asked the rescue party, having lost track of him with days of arriving on the prison ship. "Is there more of you? A support cruiser?"

"I think you may want to see this,"

Nolen fell to his knees holding his head. "No get out of here" he screamed in pain.

“You’ve been missing for about five months. I guess that it must have felt longer though, but it wasn’t until just a few weeks ago that we finally got a lead on where this ship, and you, was located, and yes, there are more of us.”
the guy frowned, “But I’m afraid that is all I can tell you for now. I’m sorry…”

Abi’s dark blue eyes dropped, as the shock settled in. Only five months? It had felt like years. Centuries. Only just under half-of-a-year? As her brows attempted to touch, another thought crawled into the back of her mind. These people that were here now to rescue them…it had taken them five frakked months to get their asses down here and save them? What the frak?! Her eyes narrowed slightly at the group, as she tightened the emergency blanket that was wrapped around herself. Good thing they came across some of their old clothing. Abi found remnants of her old uniform’s pants, and honestly couldn’t manage to wipe the grin off her face. Pants. What a beautiful concept. The top part of her old uniform, however, was a bit…broken. Thanks to some twisting and quick knots, she had boob-cover. And tummy cover. The arm-cover failed though. At least she had clothes on.

Abi had the strangest feeling that she would be tempted to take showers with clothes on from now on…

"Lieutenant, lets take the six, let everyone else go before us. I rigged an explosion to go off anytime soon, I suggest we get the heck outta here . . . and please brief me on what is going on. Do you have another team on here because we need to get a couple of missing officers, we may need to maybe kidnap one of them, she's been brainwashed"

Abi felt her heart and stomach sink. Explosion? He had only been with them a short time…before he they had run into the rescue team. WHY THE HELL WOULD ANYONE SET AN EXPLOSION WHEN THEY DIDN’T KNOW A RESCUE TEAM WAS ON BOARD?

Abi swallowed, looking at the others for some sort of mental support.

Cue the military-ish people getting into a verbal cat-fight – which caused the civilian to tune out, and play with her new clothes. Ahhh…pants…

“Why can’t we have just one mission go smoothly?” Tim asked, causing Abi to frown.
“Hey – you found us. Just take a deep breath. We’ll get through this.”
Hopefully.

The group quickly started to drift towards…hopefully leaving, when Abi looked over her shoulder, and noticed Alek slowing in his steps – before backtracking slightly.
“Alek! <Keep up!>” she called, sliding into Russian, since she was only addressing him. She had badly hid the sudden worry in her voice. All she wanted to do was get the frak out of here. Let’s not lose anyone on the way. Especially Alek.

"I think you may want to see this," he suggested, causing Abi to slow in her steps, and start to backtrack towards him.

The sound of something hitting the ground caused Abi to jump, looking over to see one of the military-ish people on their knees – hands on their head – looking pretty frakked up.

"No get out of here"

Abi halted, between the two men, highly confused.

“Why are you screaming and why are you gawking?” she asked, routed to her spot, hands on her hips.

Was it so hard to suck it up and GET THE FRAK OUT OF THERE?

Simon continued to move quickly through the corridors, until he heard two shouts from behind, one came from his squadron leader and had a dose of terror behind it. This set Simon's worst fears flashing through his mind, the Nidhogg had caught up with them.
However instead of picking up the pace and putting more distance between him and them, he turned back and pushed his way back, passing Alek as he did, finding Dragon curled up on the floor.

Why the sudden change in urge from running away to running back to pick up a shipmate, he didn't know. Captivity had made messed his his priority's, had him backwards.

He moved to his side and grabbed hold of his arm "Sir if we go your coming with us, come on up, you get." He tried pulling his CO up as he tried standing.

Glancing up he saw the Russian tech still staring out the view port "Alek what do you see?"

<Alek>

An Ori ship attacking the Nidhogg ship gave an opening "That would be why they left so quickly, lets run come on whille they've got their hands full, this could be our last chance" pulling again on Dragons arm he yelled at him "Dragon sir were all here, and were getting out of here, COME ON!!"

He finally managed to drag him half to his feet and then forward. "Come on keep moving, someone help me?"

As they moved along the corridors, they all hoped that every step they took led them towards the jumper and not towards the nidhogg. The last thing they wanted was for this rescue effort to be thwarted. Captain Cromin wanted very much to be home but they all still had a job to do, the job of escaping the prison vessel. After his explosion went off, not long after the ship seemed to be rocked sideways by what felt like external weapons fire. Apparently the sight from the window in the corridor showed an ori ship doing damage to the prison vessel.


Cromin turned towards Foster and said "Lieutenant was this part of your plan, inform the Ori about the wherabouts of the nidhogg? If it is, dare I say simply genious. . . genious on the side of insanity, I like it! Who better to keep the nidhogg busy than the ori. A bold and brilliant plan but very risky indeed because any of these enemies will easily ensalve us but if they are both busy then it all works out if we can sneak away unnoticed "

Cromin watched as Nolen fell on the floor. He knew that somehow he was still under the influence of the nidhogg mind games. He quickly joined Alek in carrying his commanding officer up. "Hey Alek, I will help you with Nolen." Turning to everybody else he said "I think we should continue towards the jumper, there is absolutely no time to waste. If the nidhogg don't catch up with us, the Ori will destroy this ship."

Tim shot a look over his shoulder allowing himself to be dragged away a few steps from the group. He kept a close eye on the group and let his eye wander between them and the officer as he spoke.

"Lieutenant, I appreciate you for coming here and obviously you know more about this rescue operation more than we do, but we have been here for about 5 months now like you said and we have picked up a couple of intel here and there. He fought hard not to raise a brow at the captain’s excuse; there were no need for him to excuse his actions. No hard feelings.
The adrenaline was pumping in all of them and when it did, people said and sometimes acted in strange ways… but he would have appreciated if this speech had been held at a later point, like when they were all safe and sound back at their base.
“No problem sir, just move on now. We need to get out of here, like yesterday”

“Why can’t we have just one mission go smoothly?” Tim asked, causing Abi to frown.
“Hey – you found us. Just take a deep breath. We’ll get through this.”.

Tim looked at Abi, and gave her a small smile, “Yeah, I guess so, come on, we’re still a few minutes away from the jumper.”

The group went on, backtracking their way through the vessel when Nolen suddenly crumbled and fell down on the deck with a cry.

"No get out of here"

Being at the far end of the group prevented the medic to reach him fast enough before he hit the floor. He seemed alright by the looks of how the rest of the team reacted though as the pulled him up and dragged him along.
Yep, he’d definitely had earned himself a closer look as soon as they were back in the relatively safety of the jumper.

"Lieutenant was this part of your plan, inform the Ori about the wherabouts of the nidhogg? If it is, dare I say simply genious. . . genious on the side of insanity, I like it! Tim shot a look out of the window and then at Cromin and shook his head, “No sir. I’m afraid not. This will certainly complicate things a bit…”
With a look at Abi, he took another deep breath, ‘Definitely not going according to plans.’
He clicked his radio, “5-3 to 5-6. The Ori are engaging the Nidhogg, we need to get out of here.”

He turned to the group as he heard Davidson, “You heard him! MOVE!”
They ran down another corridor, turned right And he shouted towards the front, “Just one more left and then we’ll have the jumper on the…”
Tim shut up as he ran in to Alek’s back who suddenly stopped dead in his tracks, “Why the h£!! are you st…”
He lifted his gaze from the Russian’s back towards the end of the corridor.

In front of them were a dozen or so Nidhoggs, their bio-weapons trained at them all.
“Oh crap…” was all he was able to think before they were all fired upon and a millisecond later something hot and sticky hit his leg left leg.
The pain was instance and spread rapidly throughout his body and after a few agonizing seconds, the darkness closed in on him and he slipped a sigh of relief as the pain gave way for the blessed unconsciousness.

Speachless, Kamarov starred out the view port into open space. "Alek what do you see?" Simon asked. When the Russian said nothing, Simon moved to his side. "Ori.... cruiser.... sir...." Alek replied, so stunned he could barely form words. There had been news that the Ori were starting to carry out operations in the Ida Galaxy, and it looked like even after five months they were still here. It was either a gift from God or terribly bad luck that the Ori had happened the stumbled upon and were beginning to destroy the very ship the crew found themselves on. "We should probably get out of here," Alek added.

The group began to move, and were told it wasn't far back to their Jumper. When Nolen fell to the ground screaming, Alek and Cromin helped him to his feet and carried him along. Still unsure what was actually happening to his CO, Alek decided they didn't have time yet to treat him medically. Once they were out of here and away from Nidhogg and Ori alike they'd be able to deal with him.

Sadly, the Nidhogg weren't quite gone. The group rounded the final corner to the Jumper and came face-to-face with a band of Nidhogg warriors, blocking their path to freedom. Kamarov cursed loudly in Russian as the bugs turned and began to fire on the group with their bio-weapons. Lieutenant Foster took a hit to the leg and went down hard.

Still helping Nolen, Alek dragged the Squadron Leader around the corner to safety. Somebody else was dragging Tim back behind cover. Members of the group returned fire with the weapons they'd been given by SD-5, trying to fight a way to the awaiting Puddle Jumper. Alek looked around in panic, unable to see Abi.

Nolen's Mind

Nolen looked around at the frozen wasteland that he stood in. He could feel the cold and was freezing. He looked at himself and noted he was wearing his old uniform back from when he fought Anubis. He started to walk away from his stationary spot, figuring that he could keep warmer that way. He walked for what seamed like hours not getting any where. Nolen was feeling the frozen breeze cut through his flight suit to his bones. He just couldn't move anymore, all hope of getting anywhere was fading fast and drained completely as something unexpected happened. A voice came out of no where, a voice he recognized and was beginning to really hate. "You really think you can escape, even with this distraction we will catch you." it said to him. Nolen looked up to the sky and yelled "GET OUT OF MY HEEEEEAAAADDDDD!!" he watched as the landscape began to change. Before he knew it he was kneeling on a unseen floor. Before him the Queen stood in front of him. "My Dear you don't need to fight so hard" she said with a twist of muscles that was supposed to be a smile. "Your already mine, you just don't know it yet" she said. Nolen gave her a frown as the anger built up. His breathing was deeper as he regained him self. Then he smiled, "You forgot one thing though Queeny Syn, we are a spontaneous race" he said then ran at her in a rugby style tackle.

Nolen awoke from his black out behind cover near Alek, He slowly adjusted his sight to see the fire fight around him. He sat up and smiled at Alek. "Alek, what have we got?" meaning the situation they were in. He grabbed a gun and looked at the others, Tim was with Simon and Unconscious Tim and Alek and Cromin with him. But where was Abi. They were in trouble and this didn't help. Nolen spun around the corner landing on his stomach. He squeezed the trigger of the P-90 knowing that they would did little or no damage but it did make them back up. "Alek, Simon and Cromin grab Tim and head to that corner there, then give us cover fire as we move up. Okay go ... go ... go" he said squeezing the trigger again.

Renita had been so focused on the task at hand, getting valuable information from the prisoner, that all the events that were taking place outside of the doors weren't even registering. The brunette had to commend the other female for lasting this long; the will was definitely strong with this one, but any moment now she would crack. Renita wasn't stupid, she could tell that this was one just giving her scripted answers. Answers that were buying the others time that the brainwashed captain had no clue about. Little did the young woman know that the others were on the verge of escaping; that another team had found them and was now leading them to the way out. So focused has she been on one task that everything else was less important.

"I have to admit, you are a tough one, but I am afraid your time is up," she stated walking over to the table, reaching over to grab a sharp, silver knife. Running a finger over the blade, a smirk crossed the face feeling how sharp it really was. One slice across with this blade and the prisoner would be down for the count. "My patience has run thin with you," she said simply across ts the floor back to the young woman, pressing the blade tightly against the skin, "I would like to thank you for the knowledge you have given us. Now it's time to reward you. This is what you wanted after all right? You served well. Now time for an early retirement. Sleep well my dear."

With a dark look displaying on Renita's cold face, the knife was pressed down and started sliding across the skin when a voice came through her mind. "Renita!" the queen's voice echoed through the mind. Pausing, the dark haired woman raised her head, staring into nothing. "What it is my queen?"

[/i] she asked noting the panic in her queen's voice. "The others are escaping! Get what guards you can and stop them! They are trying to hurt us when we have done nothing to them!" the queen explained in a hurry. Renita just nodded obediently. "The prisoners will not escape my queen. I swear my life on it,"[/i] she replied laying down the knife. The queen seemed to just smirk as the voice disappeared from the mind. "Seems like you get a few more valuable minutes to live. Enjoy them while you can," she spat on Marra, before turning heading for the door, tucking the knife into her belt.

GUARDS!" Renita shouted as the doors opened. Nidhogg surrounded the female like that of a second commander. "Get that prisoner, then gather what weapons you have, and follow me. The others are escaping. We can not let them succeed," she snapped heading off down the hall. Anger burned through the young woman's mind as she stormed down to the others. Sometimes the idiot icy of the guards were more than she could stand. All they had to do was keep an eye on the prisoners. Was that too much to ask? Obviously it was if they couldn't just do that one simple task. Sometimes it seemed like you really did have to do everything yourself.

"SURROUND THEM! CUT THEM OFF" Renita shouted running down the halls seeing the group of prisoners, plus some others, making their ways down the hall shooting back. More Nidhogg guards quickly circled around them from all angles, stopping them in their tracks. The brunette slowly approached the circle, grabbing Samarra from one of the guards, and dragging the fragile woman with her into the circle. Throwing the bounded woman to the ground, Renita grabbed a lock of her hair, tugging it back while pulling out the same sharp knife, pressing it back against the neck. "Drop all your weapons now or your teammate dies," she snapped keeping the brown eyes locked on the others. When no one moved, she just snorted sliding the knife cross as a trail of crimson blood slide down the woman's neck. "I will say it one last time, drop your weapons, or she dies," she sneered waiting to see if now they would listen. The dark eyes never left the group before them. She wasn't afraid to kill this female or any of them if need be. If only she knew who they really were, then maybe Renita wouldn't so quick to kill.

Top Level stairs >> wherever enemy is going

Kale, Jerry and Pooja remained in their little hiding place at the top of the stairs unsure on when they can get past the guards, when all of a sudden there was an explosion that shook the ship "What the h3ll was that" Kale said unsure of how that explosion happened but then gathered that is was the other team having a but of fun with the explosives in creating a distraction for them to go and find Des and Marra when Kale heard his radio come to life with Tim saying “5-3 to SD5. I don’t know if you felt that, but I’m afraid our cover has been blown, over” Kale had a puzzled look on his face after he heard that then heard Jerry say back on the radio "5-6 to 5-3, roger that we will move as soon as the coast is clear, 5-6 out" Kale then heard Jerry say to the team quietly "Now we move out once we can" Kale replied "Rightio I will check to see what is happening out there" upon saying that Kale slid out of the vent and peeked out noticing that the Nidhogg soldiers were scurrying around trying to work out what is happening then Kale noticed that they started to move towards them so he went back to the vent and slid back in then said in a quiet voice "Well I think this may be the break we need" after he spoke Kale and the other two members watched the enemy go down the stairs that they were hiding at the top of.

It seemed that the enemy was going down the stairs like a flock of seagulls "Wow now we know how many.." Kale said quietly then his jaw dropped in mid sentence when he noticed that Des was escorting Marra who has her hands tied, down the stairs "Um, Sir we have a problem, it seems that Des has been taken under their control and she is taking Samarra with her" Kale said to Jerry quietly then Kale heard Jerry reply "Ok here is the plan lets follow them and see where they go as it seems that they don't know that we are here..." Jerry then paused then continued "Kale I want you to grab Samarra when you get a chance and Pooja and I will lay a few surprises as we go" Kale then watched as Jerry motioned for them to get out of their hiding place and to follow them "Gee have to remember this little spot" Kale thought to himself as they walked slowly and carefully down the stairs just a minute or so behind the enemy.

All of a sudden the ship shook again then the radio come to life with Tim's voice again “5-3 to 5-6. The Ori are engaging the Nidhogg, we need to get out of here.” Kale looked back as he was taking point so Jerry and Pooja were able to lay a few explosives on the way Kale noticed that Jerry nodded to let him know that he can reply to the radio message. So pushing down the PTT button Kale said "5-5 to 5-3, Roger that and that is good timing even though we weren't expecting the Ori to come to our help... Well sort of, 5-5 out" that was something really unexpected indeed.

Seeing as all sense of time had been lost from the endless infinity of floating in goop, there was no telling if this torture was going on for seconds, minutes, hours or years. The sharp shooting at her fingertips charged through her entire body, releasing screams that didn't even sound human anymore. After her hands had been gone through the first time, she ran out of the generic bullnuts answers they were told to give during training. Instead, the screams choked out against sobs. Maybe...just maybe this could be used to reach down somewhere and find her old friend.

"Des...Des, please stop!" she said, giving up on all dignity and begging for the torture to end. "You aren't doing this. This isn't you. You're my friend..." These pleas were cut off by screams and shooting pain. Tears began to stain her face, as she continued. "Des, you don't like hurting people...or anything! Hell, you cried when you hit a fox on the road to he beach house, remember? That was the same weekend we caught the waves right before that hurricane a few years back. When we couldn't surf anymore, we got hammered and sang karaoke. Remember what we sang?"

The woman asked another question, and in response, Marra chortled out, "Just a small town girl...living in a lonely world..."

[/i] Another stab, more blood, a scream. [/i]"She took a midnight train going anywhere..."[/b][/i]

Continuing on through the chorus, punctuated by screams and sobs, a strange sound came from her mouth. It wasn't singing...or a cry...but a laugh. Her next scream was cut off by a full-fledged peal of laughter, her head falling back and entire body trembling. For a moment, the other woman seemed to be caught off guard. Barely able to choke out the words, Marra coughed out between chuckles, "We're not getting anywhere...you know it. I know it. There's only one way this can end."

Over her laughter, she barely registered what the other woman said.

""I have to admit, you are a tough one, but I am afraid your time is up. My patience has run thin with you. I would like to thank you for the knowledge you have given us. Now it's time to reward you. This is what you wanted after all right? You served well. Now time for an early retirement. Sleep well my dear."

As she felt the cold dagger against the skin on the side of her neck, she slowed her laughter a bit. As the woman spoke, just before she dug in, Marra looked up at her and smiled.

"Don't stop...believin'..."[/i]

Her body could no longer handle it as the pain of the dagger cutting overwhelmed what little bit of conciousness she had left. Slowly slipping into darkeness, she let it embrace her. Her last sensations were of the warm but trickling down her cold body. The last thing she heard was the voice of her friend...

"Seems like you get a few more valuable minutes to live. Enjoy them while you can."

And then, it went dark.

Then suddenly, she could feel again...as she was on the ground. A jerking against her scalp and the familiar cold against her neck where the warm blood was already cooling. Completely unaware to the world around her, she tried to think of other places. The beach...with Des...those amazing waves rolling in off the Pacific...a couple cold Smirnoffs in between them as they lay in the warm sand. The blade cut in again, and she heard the woman roard once more...it was growing dark again.[/blockquote]

The hallway was filled with the chaos of combat. "Alek, Simon and Cromin grab Tim and head to that corner there," Nolen yelled. "Then give us cover fire as we move up. Okay go ... go ... go." The Russian grabbed a weapon off the unconscious Tim and fired at the bugs that were blocking their way to freedom. He wasn't even sure what the weapons was but it had a barrel, a trigger, and made a loud noise when fired. He'd done weapon drills during his initial air force training, and while he was far from a Spetsnaz sharp shooter he could nuts a seven-foot tall bug at point blank range with ease.

Once the bugs had been pushed back he grabbed Tim's limb form but his vest and dragged him across the hallway and to the relative safety around a corner. He turned around and laid down covering fire while Nolen and the rest made their way around the corner and out of the enemies line of fire. It was at this point things turned from bad to worst.

"Drop all your weapons now or your teammate dies," a voice boomed from around the corner. The bugs couldn't talk - as far as Alek knew they didn't even have vocal cords, communicating only through telepathy. "What the what?" Alek asked, peering around the corner. At the end of the hallway next to their Puddle Jumper was Des, albeit a very strange and angry looking Des, holding a knife to Samarra's neck. The Russian ducked back around the corridor and looked to the others in confusion. "What should we do?" he asked, just as Des boomed her second warning.

All hell had broken loose, that was all Cromin could think about. He wished that everyone was on the jumper and they were all on their way back to the SGC. He couldn't help but think about all the tight corners he had been in through out his career and somehow he had made it out. He definitely new that God was protecting him. "Jesus help me get home" He whispered under his breadth, he checked his ammo and then continued down the hallway with the others staying at their six. Soon enough there was weapons fire, and Tim was downed by it. Nolen screamed out to the team saying "Alek, Simon and Cromin grab Tim and head to that corner there, Then give us cover fire as we move up. Okay go ... go ... go."


Having joined with Alek to carry Tim to the side and and lay down cover fire, the group of SG personel were able to move even closer to the Jumper because somehow the Nidhogg who would ussually run into bullets ran back. Curious and confused the team went further only to see Des holding Captain Blackwell with a knife around her neck saying "Drop all your weapons now or your teammate dies" Alek obviously surprised like the rest of them said "What the what, What should we do?" Cromin looking at Des with a very sad countenance took a step forward towards her and said "We dont have time for this, Des get into the jumper let us get the heck outta here or Dragon could give me the order and I could shoot you, disable you that is but not kill you."

As the situation tensed up, more Nidhogg showed up but from the other entrance Ori soldiers also showed up. Now there was the Nidhogg brutes, Ori soldiers who apparently had boarded the ship and of course there was the SG personel. They were all at a standoff. Having very little patience for what was going on, Cromin grabbed C-4 explosives from Tim's jacket and placed it on the window of the ship right next to where they all were. He set the timer to 60 seconds and said "this is how long we all have, if this bomb goes off, we all die, this ship will start to vent atmosphere and pretty much with all the ship fire going on on the outside, this ship will be gone quite quickly . . . and oh by the way, I also have the detonator, so what are we going to do, and I am not bluffing, Des i am quite sure you have read my file." With that he waited to see who would give in to his bluff as the timer ticked away.

Renita watched the prisoners, none of them moving to do anything. The knife pressed deeper into the neck of the bounded woman. Did they really think she wouldn't so kill their precious member? When one did move, the eyes never left the man; listening intently on what he was saying. As he started talking, it was as if a switch was switched off on Renita. A laugh started to escape from the brunette as a voice, that clearly wasn't her own, escaped from the lips. "You all are fools! Go ahead, die here. For if you even try to take your Destiny Andre back, she dies. Her life source is connected with me," the queen's voice sneered through Renita's; face distorted through the queen's connection. "Her life is mine. Destroy me, or this place, and you destroy her. So go ahead blow it up. You will only be encouraging it all. For this is how you will remember Destiny Andre."

Blinking the eyes a few times, Renita shook her head as the weird feeling left the body. Setting down Samarra for a moment, Renita watched as the young man started to set the C-4. A laugh escaped from the mouth at the lack of mental capability with this one. Quickly pulling out a gun, the brunette shot at the man's legs, causing him to drop the precious explosive to the ground. A nearby Nidhogg guard quickly dove for the device, knowing that dropping it could mean instant death. Maybe these bugs weren't completely brainless after all. Taking steps forward, the female shot bullet after bullet into the legs; leaving two, maybe even three, gaping wounds in both legs. The sadist look just grew on the woman's face, as if she was having a bit too much fun with this.

When the man was down for the count, Renita snapped her fingers as a guard took over the position she had previous with Marra. With gun pointed at Cromin's head; smirking at the pain and the blood that was present from the gun wounds; red liquid pouring out of the wounds creating a crimson pool around the legs. "I know not of this Des you speak of. I am Renita, the queen's servant and I will kill you and the others unless you obey," she hissed pressing the gun hard against the young man's head. Looking up at the others, a cold, dark, harden look crossed the face. The power of control was breath taking, and Renita was bathing in it right at this moment. "Now, are you ready to comply? Or do I have to kill two of your members?" she asked cocking the gun. Oh the joys of power. Anything could be yours. Though for a small moment, something ticked in this brain; as if she shouldn't be doing this. As if something deep in the back of the mind was yelling NO! For a moment it surfaced, but Renita just shook her head. Pressing the gun even harder, knowing there would be a dent when she was down with him.

Step one – get away from the aliens.
Step two – easily run into a rescue team.
Step three – get the frak off the ship.

The third step was playing hard to get. Abi frowned as they hurried along, Tim freaking out at the fact that things weren’t running smoothly. After some comforting words, he replied, “Yeah, I guess so, come on, we’re still a few minutes away from the jumper.”
A few minutes. The idea sent a chill down her spine. It all seemed so close. Then Alek stopped. His slowed pace seemed to be the catalyst that sent the crap into the fan. Nolen soon fell to his knees, crying out in pain, the evil aliens were suddenly on their tail again…and…

"Ori.... cruiser.... sir...."

Ori.

Really?

At least Abi had pants and a shirt on. That’s all that mattered now. The world was frakking ending – but at least she had pants. Yay.


"We should probably get out of here.”

And they all started running, dragging the incapacitated Nolen along with them, as the giant cockroaches started to catch up. Oh – this was just all bad.

Turning around a corner, more bugs were at their front. Abi let out an annoyed grunt, as Alek swore in Russian.

And Tim was out.

Alright – maybe this wasn’t going so smoothly.

As Abi reached over to attempt to help the guy that just wanted to do his job, someone pushed in front of her, and pulled him to safety. Abi scurried around the fire of the evil bugs, her heart pounding in her chest. This was just all bad. All she wanted was a bed. A pillow. Maybe not even a pillow. Just a bed. Real clothes. A room without these people. Just…alone time, without the fear of torture. That’s all she wanted. But now – it seemed more out of reach then ever. Once the thought didn’t even pollute her mind, now it mocked her – egging her on in all the wrong ways.

Sliding under a grate just along the wall, the creatures concentrated on those who had ran around the corner…until one looked down to see her dark blue eyes, gazing up at it. Well – frak.

Another approached, distracting the bugs for a moment, as Abi felt paralyzed in fear. But you know what? She was going to die anyway. As another thundered down the hall, Abi threw herself at the shadow of a human form, just around the corner – only to see the people she had been looking for. It took serious control to not burst out in tears of happiness. Before she could even bat an eyelash however, a familiar voice echoed down the hall – which revealed two people she hadn’t seen in awhile. Marra…and Des? Oh frak.

At the sight of Marra so incapacitated and Des being…evil, Abi’s brain froze. This was all too much for the barely-over-five-foot girl. Movement flashed in front of her, but she was hardly paying attention.

She just wanted out.
