Kevin couldn't help but chuckle at the two girls as they conversed back and forth. For some reason he couldn't take his eyes off of Destiny though, feeling that he had known her from elsewhere. After dinner was done Marissa stood up and smiled warmly, "Now I don't know what y'all do up in New York City, but this time of year our lil' city likes to hold a nice lil' fair. That's where Dave is headed and you kids are welcome to join him. It's all on us." She said with a smile then when she saw the girls shake their heads no she shook her head, "Now when someone offers ye somethin' don't you say no! I'm doin' it outta the goodness of my heart. Now you younglins get lost and have a good time ye hear?" She replied not waiting for an answer.

Kevin stood up and chuckled slightly, that was one thing he loved about his mom, she never took no for an answer. Walking over to where Des was he smiled slightly, "Anything in particular you would like to do? As mom said Dave is heading over to the fair, and looks like your little sister and her boyfriend are gong with him, but if you don't want to go there thats understandable, maybe we can find something for you that you enjoy doing." He said as he finished loading the last of the dishes in the dishwasher and his mom motioned for him to leave the kitchen, "Now now Kevin, I may be old but I can still do things, now get lost and have some fun!" She exclaimed with a warm smile and watched as both Destiny and Kevin walked out the front door. "Its about time he found a woman his age..." She muttered with a triumph smile on her face.

As they walked outside Kevin began to feel slightly nervous, he hadn't hung around a woman one-on-one since High School and that relationship didn't last long. He stopped when they reached the shop and smiled slightly, "I suppose you'll want me to order those parts for you, lets see what I can do right now." He said as he unlocked the door to the garage and stepped inside behind Destiny. Opening up a drawer he picked up a small container that contained a list of numbers and he quickly began to flip through it, looking for one in particular that he knew would have the parts that they needed for the girls' car.

"Well that was the plan, and you were on top of the list. The next two people are a person named Lola Kindred and another person called Destiny Andre. So are you with us" Nolen smiled.

He somehow knew there was no use asking as dale would. I just can't shake this feeling that I know him and the others. Nolen pointed at one of the addresses on the paper. "So which one is our next move" Nolen for some reason trusted Dales advice, even though they had only just meet. "Got your own ride or are ya piggybacking?" Nolen asked with a smirk putting on his jacket, Lisa had gone quiet through this and only now spoke again So you aren't crazy after all, I mean two differant people having almost identical dreams, and they never meet before. Something is up. Noles I'm with you on this. After an hour they were off. Heading to there next part of the puzzle.

Dale nodded his legs where getting tired he put too much strain on them walking today quickly he grabbed his cane from its resting place. “After the crash my legs where badly hurt so much to the fact that everywhere I got I have to use this cane here or a wheelchair which I’ll just go and get now its in my room at the moment and yeah I’m coming with you two I have to figure out why I’m getting these dreams.” Dale returned shortly afterwards wheeling his wheelchair back into the lounge room with him on it. “I don’t have my own vehicle so I’ll have hitch a ride with you two." Dale replied back to Nolen. After managing to get back into Nolen’s vehicle Dale started to think to himself. “So you think the government did something to us?” Dale asked Nolen. It was the more logic reason to everything that has happened by far. He rubbed his legs to try and forget the pain that they where causing him at the present time.

Steve smacked his lips. That was the best damn meal he had in a week. Not that.. Destiny's sandwiches weren't nice.. it was just good to have something a little more. Despite the car being totaled for now, he was having a good time. He didn't really know why the girls kept having serious talks and argueing. Weird, they usually got on amazingly well. Ah well, whatever happens happens. Steve walked outside with Azalea. The fair. This could really be some fun! Steve loved fast rides and anything extreme so he would jump straight on the biggest and baddest one he could spot. And it was all paid for by this kind young man's mother.

He had Azalea's hand in his and playful swung their arms about as they strolled out to the road. Steve then noticed Kevin and Destiny weren't so quick to follow. He checked behind them to make sure they were out of earshot then spoke to Azalea.
"Hey.. do you rekon she likes him? I can blatently tell. He was staring at her all evening! And she.. well.. she was different tonight! This fair trip could be very.. interesting huh!?"
Steve laughed a little. He put his arm around Azalea and turned to face where Kevin and Destiny were. He shouted in their general direction.
"Come on you two! Stop flirting and lets go to the fair!" Steve looked at Azalea and both of them started laughing. Yep, Destiny seemed to have found herself a crush here and Steve and Azalea were having fun watching it unfold.

The Stargate closed and 4 people started to walk down. The Co was in a annoyed mood and just wanted the debrief to hurry up.

"Major, what happened? You are 4 hours early" the General asked walking into the gate room.

"We did some recon but was spotted by a group of Jaffa, they attacked and we retreated sir." the Major replied.

"Get you team cleaned up.. the debriefing is in 10" The general replied before walking off.

"You see Captain, I told you the Jaffa can't be dealt with" the Major said. The Captain was staring at the Gate. Thinking about something.. he looked at his name tag and it had the word that reassured him. Johnson

"Yeah I guess your right Matt" he replied before following the rest of his team. He wasn't a leader.. he he'd never be... why be in charge of lives.. though he had the same thing flying the S-70A-9 Black Hawk. Lives depended on him.. But not this much, he just loved the crafts capability of landing and hoving..'Like the Gatehawk' His mind replied.. 'The What?' his mind replied back.

"Nevermind" he said quietly.

"Nevermind mind what Andy?" his Co asked.

"Nothing Mate.. nothin" he replied to the American as they hit the showers to get the mud and grit and blood and dirt off them. The Debriefing went as planned But Andrew just felt a bit off throughout the thing.

Earth
House

Andrew's Car parked at the driveway he sat there looking at the house. He hadn't been home in a few weeks.. Not because of his job. He had no idea how to really relate to his wife.. she was a restaurant owner he was an alien explorer and all she knew was that he was testing new helicopters for the US Airforce. It was a big lie from Day one.. Frankly he shouldn't have met her.. If it was for Mick's double date with Julie, he wouldn't have met Lola.. Though at first Julie was everything but Mick had dibs on her. And since they been friends alone with Dale since they were kids. He honoured that, and soon realised Lola was everything he ever wanted. And he never regretted asking her to marry him. What he did regret was her leaving the Defence Force, which made him wonder why. She flew F111's and F-18's yet he got stuck with the Blackhawk's and a short time on the Attack Choppers.. which was indeed fun.. Blackhawk's didn't fight well But Tiger's did.

Opening the car door.. he held a box of red rose's for her and a box of expensive chocolate.. and a note.. and another box with a bottle of champs.. though he hoped he wasn't overdoing it, He opened the door with the keys as a rookie trying to juggle a grenade landing in his hand. Finally winning against the door he opened it and walked into the kitchen with the peace offering.

Lola's grin was warm and genuine to see her Andrew walk through the door safe after a couple of weeks away. She was no fool, he was in Black Ops, so she worried for every second he was away, she kept having dreams of a strange ring that took people to other planets, dismissing them as flights of fancy for her action deprived mind.

She kissed him passionately, and only after breaking for breath noticed the gifts he held, the flowers now crushed in her eagerness to see him

She had never regretted retiring, after all she was still with Andrew, even if she were not in the air, a popular restaurant was surely not completely deprived of action, she did after all, have to combat the egos of chefs, waiters and bar staff

"Hi" he replied handing over the slightly crushed gifts. She always surprised him and he didn't know why. The Stargate surprised him but he was a science fiction fan. His Christian values were always put in danger because of him always trying to lie.

Lola kissed him again and accepted the gifts, deep love clear in her eyes. She blushed as she saw the mangled roses "Hi. I'll umm, just put these in some water." She put the roses in a vase and came back and took the seat next to him in the kitchen, scooting it closer to him

"I was thinking about you said the other week.. well two weeks.. And yes I'd love to have children" he said looking into her eyes. He wondered if she still wanted them or not.

Lola's eyes sparkled with unshed tears and she dove on top of him, almost sending his chair, and all it contained, to the floor in an untidy heap. She looked him in the eyes, and said in a hopeful voice "Are are you sure? We we can wait if you want"

"Life is too damn short.. you know. And I'd think we'd make a cute kid.." he said hugging her very tightly in his arms. He didn't want to let go and why should he..'She's under your command' his mine said to him. He dismissed it.

Lola grinned her lopsided smile and kissed him he's in your chain of command her mind screamed, but she silenced it. She pulled away from him and walked into the kitchen to check on their dinner. She pulled the roast out and heaped it onto the chopping board, sharpening her knife as it rested and a memory flashed before her eyes, that of a knife she had thrown whipping through the air

to be embedded in the throat of someone behind Andrew. She shook her head in confusion and began carving the meat "Roast okay honey?"

"Not as dangerous as a Camping trip" he said taking another bite. He stopped, they never went camping. He shrugged, he keeps forgetting everything. "How was work?" he asked

Lola almost dropped the knife and asked in a small voice "C-camping trip?" She gauged his reaction as she carved the meat "You know what the bloody egotistical chefs are like, snake heads the lot of them" Lola froze and looked at Andrew, seeing her own look mirrored in his

"Snake.. oh I getcha" he said.. trying not to give anything away, he'd already played tag with the Jaffa today. Though against the Wraith, Ori they were bloody easy.. The Cats scared him more than Jaffa ever did. though he had no idea what the Wraith or Ori were. 'Cat's Im afraid of cats?' he thought having a flash back.

"Levels.. 1 and 2 are still being held by marines.. The cats got through section 14 but we pushed them back.. I recommend we start deploying heavy weapons general" Andrew said.

"Do it" the general replied.

He got back to reality and started eating the vegies.

Lola put the pudding into the oven and sat down next to Andrew and ate her roast distractedly. She looked at a mangled piece of pupkin and muttered "ha, a 302" before looking confused and quickly shoving the strangely shaped pumpkin into her mouth. "I must be going nuts"

He wondered what she meant by that.. he had heard of a project designated 302.. but he never knew what it was. And Lola shouldn't know what it was. "You mean your usual" he said with a smile.

Lola started, she had not realised that she had spoken aloud. She pushed the food around with her fork distractedly. Finally giving up on food she looked at Andrew "uh, yeah that's it, let me get those" she collected the plates, still half full and took them to the sink

"I was eating that, what next time if I try to do something you'll try to kill me?" he joked.

Lola grinned and said over her shoulder "What like I did with that knife." At saying that she spun around, dropping the plates, her hand shooting to her mouth in a silent gasp

He had the image in his head, it was like a movie.
He started making his way to the embankment, as he rounded the corner, he aimed his weapon. "Freeze" he stated. before realising who it was.

Lola heard someone creeping up behind her and she removed the hunting knife from her belt. She heard a familiar voice calling out Freeze and she spun around. A look of grim determination came across her face as she threw the knife, it flipping through the air..

.Andrew's eyes went wide, but being trained in split second reaction, he didn't fire a shot he ducked just out of its way, he could hear it's noise as he sliced through the wind and cut his ear as well.. it continued until it came in contact with a noise he knew.. turning he could see a man, about his age with a knife in his throat.. the man's eyes dimmed as the life disappeared from it..He felt sad for the man. But this was war, it had to be done.

He silently said a prayer for the man before touching his ear. "Owwww" he said looking at Lola.. "But thanks" he added.

"Um I got no idea what your on about" he lied getting up quickly and going into the bedroom.

Lola caught the look in his eye and followed him into the bedroom "What the bloody hell is going on Andrew?" Lola asked, somewhat worried that she was finally losing her mind

"Nothing at all.. your probably having a moment of your past.. Like the knife wound from that deranged guy" he said getting undressed.

Lola looked up shocked and stuttered "wha-what? It it it it was a cooking accident" he hands automatically flew to the scar, her eyes not able to meet his, knowing he would see the lie there

"You told me.. you told me the whole story what happened.. and asked if I still loved you.. I love you no matter what" he replied hotly.

Lola's eyes shot up to his, seeing them sparkle in anger and she involuntarily flinched - she never had dealt with that night. Her eyes turned cold and she spoke in a low voice "It was a kitchen accident, I knocked a knife off the bench"

"If you say so" he replied getting under the sheets and turning off his light. He didn't have another mission until Thursday, 3 days of bliss.

Lola shook her head and undressed, climbing in beside Andrew. She cuddled up to him "Why do you think that that he um, that that happened?"

He tried to sleep, he changed his body language to one that was already asleep. hough he'd stay awake.. his wife of 2 years was natural born killer. She lied to him about allot of things.. he only lied about one thing.. his job.

Lola smiled to herself, she could hear his breathing, she knew he was awake. Knowing he would keep it up, Lola remembered something and asked before she knew what she was saying "Where is the Delian Galaxy?"

"Like I know, never heard of it.. maybe its next to Andromeda or Triangulum, or next door to Ida" he mumbled back before closing his eyes for real. For some reason the word Ida meant allot to him, but what?

Lola sat up and turned on the light "How do you know that? Is that something to do with that bluey grey ring?"

"I'm trying to sleep damn it.. " he said getting another pillow and putting it over his head. "Goodnight"

Lola grabbed the pillow and stared at Andrew furiously "How can you ignore this, you're the bloody SAS!"

"SAS? I aint SAS, yes I tried out.. but I didn't make the cut.. damn training nearly killed me. I'm a pilot.. I fly cool rotary things called choppers.. the make a papapapa noise.. and make mini dust storms.. Can I go to sleep now?" he sarcastically asked putting his own pillow above his head.

Lola rolled her eyes at his sarcasm and replied drily "Yeah and I'm a crack pilot for a secret government agency, you you do that, keep ignoring the facts, seems to have worked for years, why go back now"

"I Want sleep.. bad day at the test field.. ok? You need sleep.. So can we deal with this in the damn morning.. or do you have a problem with it" he replied

"Do I have a problem with it - what is this bloody bush week? Test field sure, more like the bloody Stargate Academy!"

"WHAT... This is stupid" he said getting out of bed and into some dress clothes.."I can't deal with this.." he said walking out, grabbing his keys and wallet in the process. He locked the two doors and got into the car, starting it up he wanted to forget what she said.. If he told anyone secret service would be all over them.. The car started a bit buggered because of the cold, but it roared to life. He drove down to a motel.. he need time off.

Lola jumped out of bed and into her riding leathers. Grabbing her keys, wallet and phone she took off to the garage, kicking the Harley to life and chasing after Andrew

He saw her in the rear view mirror and pretty much did turns and stuff to make sure she couldn't keep up. He needed time to adjust. Getting into the driveway he walked to the office.

Motel

"Hey, could I have a room for one ... just for three days" he said tio the clerk.

"Would you like movies?" the man asked,

"No.. Just a room and a bed" he replied.

"We got the suite.. that's about it.. it includes a bar fridge" the man said..

"Fine then" Andrew replied

"Thats room 12.. and that's $201.67 please" the man said. Andrew paid in cash and got back in his car.. driving to room 12 he opened the door and closed it. Locking it in the process.

Lola watched him pull into a motel and killed the engine of her Harley in front of his room. He had tried to lose her, but she had watched where he was going. She stepped off the Harley and pounded on the door

He heard the door about to break of its hinges. "I don't even got the TV on" he shouted back.. Opening... "What did I forget a receipt or something" he said, before looking up. "What Now?" he asked.

Lola did not wait for him to move aside, knowing her would not, and walked straight past him and sat on the edge of the bed "We need to talk"

Nolen, Lisa and Dale were traveling down a dark winding highway. The bikes were screaming down the road, lite up by only the bikes single head light. Nolen was getting drowsy and thought that if he was tired maybe Lisa and Dale were. Pulling to the side of the road, Nolen got off his bike and walked up to Lisa's bike. Lifting his visor Nolen asked Lisa and Dale "Hey you guys want to get something to eat and a bed to sleep in"

"Sounds good Noles, Lead the way" Lisa replied. Nolen got back on his Ninja and took off with Lisa and dale close behind.

Bar fight part 1

Arriving at a small motel with a bar next to it, they parked the bikes and Lisa went to get a couple of rooms, while Dale and Nolen walked into the bar. Nolen found a couple of seats and a table in the back corner of the bar. "That looks as good as any" Nolen said pointing out the set up.

Nolen grabbed three beers and some food for them both then sat down with Dale. "It's a bit loud and rowdy in here, must be good grog" Nolen said noticing four bikers picking on a girl at the bar.
Just then Lisa walked in and spotted them at the table. She walked over and gave Nolen and Dale their keys. " They had tree rooms right next to each other. Well you could of waited" Lisa jested as she went to go get some food.
Nolen went back to talking to Dale trying to piece the clues together. "So what do you think this big ring is? A portal or ...." Nolen was interrupted by a scream. Looking over to the bar he noticed the four had doubled to eight and were trying to grab Lisa. "Well I ain't letting that happen, You coming to Dale. Don't worry I'm just going to talk to them" Nolen said with a smirk across his face.

Nolen walked up to one of the bikers and asked "Ah Mate that's my lil' sis' your harassing there, and I believe she told you to let her go". The biker turned to Nolen and punched him in the gut. "She looks good, for that maybe I won't kill you" he replied. Nolen quickly recovered as the biker turned around again, picking up a full wine bottle from a nearby table, he hit the biker across the head with full force sending blood and glass across the bar. Dale looked at him and Nolen just looked Innocent "What?"

Azalea smiled as Steve walked with her out of the house while following Dave to this fair that was in town. She could honestly say that she never really been to a fair before because New York City they weren't really big on things like that. She looked back over her shoulder Kevin and Destiny and chuckled. "I think you're right," she said to him. "Looks like I'm going to win the bet sooner than later sis!" she shouted over her shoulder to Destiny.

Destiny looked at her sister and glared. "Ha you wish! And who says I'll play fair with you gone?!" she shouted back winking at her sister. Azalea laughed glad to see that Des was finally loosing up. "Don't do anything I wouldn't do!" she shouted back at beforing giving Steve a small kiss on the cheek.

Destiny laughed back. "Which means I'll do nothing," she said grinning at her sister laughing harder as she watched Azalea roll her eyes. She sighed shaking her head than walked over to the desk where Kevin was. She stood beside it looking around than glanced out the window.

"Hey....new idea...why don't we forget the number and go take a walk? The sun is setting and this is the prettiest time of day to take a walk," she said smiling at him gently but before he could answer grabbed his arm and dragged him out of the shop. She walked a little ways and stopped. "Er.....since I'm not from around here why don't you lead the way somewhere. I have a bad habit of getting people lost," she said blushing slightly.

She stood there waiting for him to say something while glancing over at him. She looked at him...feeling that feeling that she knew him from somewhere but pushed it away. Azal is right...I do need to hang loose, she thought than chuckled, when was the last time I hung out a guy like this that wasn't steve and that I had feelings for....WHOA!! I did not just admit that!! I don't know him but wait...do i? She shook her head at herself than looked away from Kevin.

"So have you ever been to New York City?"she asked trying to make conversation. She liked that Kevin was a little more on the quiet side, that meant he wouldn't be annoying. But she hoped he would still talked. She liked guys that were able to hold a conversation.

Azalea walked with Steve into the fair and looked around amazed. "Whoa!! This place is huge!" she said stopping taking it all in. Dave chuckled nodding. "Yeah you are definitely a city girl," he said chuckling. Azalea glared at him playfully than nodded. "Yeah I am. That's why Des Steve and I are taking this trip," she said grinning as Steve gave her a squeeze. Dave chuckled. "Well hey look...I'm going to meet up with my friends. You guys can tag along or just hang with yourselves. Doesn't matter to me. If you do go off with yourselves...feel free to head back to the house whenever! See ya!" he said than took off.

Azalea chuckled than looked at Steve. "So where would you like to go first?" she asked grinning knowing he had been to one of these things. So she knew he could take her to the best places. She stared at Steve a bit longer, glad to have moments like these with just him and her. She had found the right guy in him. As she waited for his reply she thought about to Des and Kevin alone and smirked. Oh dear sister....if only you knew how you are dearly going to lose, she thought to herself.

Bar fight part 1

Dale agreed with Nolen his legs could use a rest. “That’ll be good mate could do rest anyway.” Dale replied to Nolen as he managed to climbed of the bike without falling over onto the footpath he quickly assembled his wheelchair and wheeled it into the bar after Nolen a few bikers stared at him though Dale didn’t care. Dale nodded in reply as he drank some of his beer and started on his food while sitting in the wheelchair. “Mate I have know Idea all I see is this big metal ring thingy that spins around and lights up and some sort of elite team.” Dale explained. Dale turned immediately after hearing Nolen’s sister scream after being harassed he wheeled his wheelchair towards them when Nolen smacked some biker guy Dale reached out and belted another biker with his cane and ran over his foot. That’ll teach ya. Dale thought to himself the bar tender quickly rounded up the bikers. “Everything alright?” Dale asked.

Nolen and Dale were out numbered and backed in to a corner. Lisa had run out of the bar At least shes safe. Nolen looked at Dale's face, "Now how was I supposed to know that the jerk I hit was related to half the bar" he said as he swung a chair cracking it across another guys chest. Keeping both legs of the chair he started belting blokes across the head. Nolen was surprised to see red and blue lights out the window, he turn to tell Dale when he was knocked to the floor. Looking Dazed at Dale he slipped out of conscious.

"This is to easy" Nolen said to his Silverwing as they got in to position for their attack run. Then his radio came alive.
"Dark Angel to all fighters, Dark Angel to all fighters, we have incoming I repeat we have incoming"
"Great I've got to learn to keep my mouth shut" He blurted out again.... Damn Nolen thought as he tried to shake the two he had on his. Getting a brief look on Silverwings pursuer he fired a missile and was rewarded with a Hit. Performing a high G loop to loop he managed to get behind his pursuers and mowed them down with his guns. Nolens radio blurted out again Thanks Dragon...I owe you!.". "Who's counting" Nolen replied to Silverwing.


Nolen woke to the sound of Lisa's voice "Noles Get up, Noles please wake up, Dale He's awake". "Anybody get the number plate of that truck that hit me" Nolen said as he scanned the surroundings. The white walls and smell of detergents gave the place away. "I think something is seriously wrong"

Bar fight part 2

Dale couldn’t believe the situation they where in at this present time though he couldn’t do much to help Nolen being in a wheelchair though he smacked a couple of bikers even though they where out numbered when Nolen hit the floor Dale had to drag him outside back to the hotel that they where staying in. It seamed like hours to Dale that Nolen was out cold heck Dale even fell asleep waiting or Nolen to regain conscious he slipped into a dream or flashback state Dale didn’t know.

“Captain Schreyer your papers have been approved for the Delta expedition you leave in a week and another thing Captain your promotion to Major congratulations.” Dale slightly woke when Lisa had told him that Nolen had returned back to the land of the living. Dale wheeled his wheelchair over towards Nolen. “Hey mate I think so too any idea on what the hell the delta expedition is?” Dale asked Nolen hoping he might have known about it or maybe remembered something he sighed and looked back over towards Nolen.

Steve smiled, taking in the atmosphere of the fair. Dave ran off to meet his mates and left Steve and Azalea to their own devices. Steve was happy with that. She asked him where he wanted to go first. He looked around taking in all the lights and sounds.
"Hmmm... That one!" Steve pointed to a very large cage like ride which seemed to be spinning at a high speed. They walked over to it and Azalea didn't seem so sure as they queued up. "Umm Steve... I dunno"
"Ah come on it'll be a laugh.. Besides.. I got your hand every step of the way!" Steve smiled at Azalea and looked into her eyes which seemed quite dreamy to him.

That seemed to be all the persuasion they needed as they both ran up to the ticket booth. Steve paid for the both of them and they ran onto the ride, excited. They both stood in special places next to each other and waited as the safety man went around and lowered people's harnesses and checked they were safe and intact. Steve smiled at Azalea,
"Just... Don't throw up on me or anything.. Oh this is gonna be fun.." The safety man checked Steve and Azalea's harnesses and continued round. Azalea replied to Steve, "Oh yeah.. Well I wanna see your face after this is ov-" Azalea cut her sentance short as she was startled. The ride started with a bump and began slowly going round. Steve looked at Azalea's face and giggled,
"You were saying!" There wasn't a chance for much more talk as the ride suddenly picked up speed and began going round and round at a high speed. It tipped up and on its side. Azalea looked scared. Steve was loving it. He reached his hand down under the harness and grabbed Azalea's with a smile.
The ride finally came to a finish and began slowing down.

When it was over the harnesses flipped up. They both came off reeling with laughter, obviously having a great time.
"Did you see your face!" .. "Yeah but you looked like you were going to vomi- .. What is it hunny"
Steve had seemed to have frozen and a serious look came over his face. He focussed on something, or somebody. Azalea looked at where he was looking and gasped as she seemed to recognize it as well.

A bald headed man. Dressed in black, with a silver symbol on his forehead. Steve suddenly spoke,
"Jaffa! Azalea stick behind me!" Azalea seemed confused at what was going on. The moment of recognition passed and now it seemed Steve was acting crazy. Steve padded his sides down and cursed,
"Trust me to let my gaurd down like this and not bring a firearm" Steve ran over to a nearby stall, a shooting gallery. A father and his child were firing pellets out of a rifle at targets in the stall. Steve ran over and picked up a spare gun. He loaded it expertly and cocked it. People were staring at him by now. Steve fired off two shots. Through the crowd he saw the man stumble, yes! He had hit him in the leg. Another shot, a miss. The man had gone. Steve suddenly looked down to see what he was doing. He gasped and dropped the gun. Steve looked around and uttered, "Sorry..." He then ran off too some trees nearby and leaned against one, trying to hide from the people.. scared. He slid down to the bottom and sat there, panting. Azalea walked over to him and looked down at him. Steve looked up, he seemed afraid at what he had visioned

"I found..." Kevin started as he pulled a number out of the small box but then was cut off by Destiny pulling him out of the shop. He laughed slightly as he locked the door behind them and caught up to her. "A walk it is." He said with a small smile as they turned off the road and onto a small path, "I wouldn't mind getting lost with a pretty girl like yourself." He said smiling than after he realized what he had said he tried to rephrase it, "What I mean is its kind of hard to get lost around here, everything connects." He said quickly. Kevin's mom was watching out the window when she watched the two walk away, "Finally, someone got him to hang loose." She said and huge smile formed across her face. She stood by the window until they turned out of sight.

After a few minutes of silence Destiny broke it by asking a simple question, Kevin knew that she was trying to break the awkward silence that had settled between the two. "Nah, pops was never one of big road trips, we went to Philly once to see my cousin for graduation, but thats about it." He said quietly as he held out a hand to help Destiny over a fallen tree.

After awhile they had reached their destination and Kevin smiled, "Welcome to one of the most beautiful places around here." He started, looking around it was indeed beautiful. There was a small waterfall, and not a soul in sight. Walking over to rock Kevin took a seat and motioned for Destiny to do the same. The seat was only big enough for two, but small enough that they would have to sit pretty close. "This is my favorite spot around here, I always come here to think...not many people know about it." He said as he glanced over at Destiny who hadn't spoken much since they left. He couldn't place how, but it seemed like he knew her, and that they were close. He figured that she just reminded him of someone whom he had known awhile back so he tried to shake it off but to no prevail. He quickly took his gaze off of her and stared out up ahead, the sun was just setting over the mountains and it looked beautiful. No matter how long he had lived there for, no matter how many times he saw the sun set he still couldn't get over how marvelous it looked.

Motel Room

Nolen had started remembering small things about the expedition and the star gate program. Nolen started to tell Dale what he could remember about the 301st, the Delta site and the people on the list. " That is Flight Lieutenant Kindred, That is Colonel Johnson and you are a major Dale, at least that's what I remember" Nolen stopped and looked at Dale. "But when did that happen, The man I remember as you was perfectly healthy".

They stayed up most of the night piecing together the clues of their lives.

In the morning they got up and ready Early. Getting on the bikes Nolen noticed something odd with Dale. "Ah, Correct me if I'm wrong but weren't you depended on your cane" Nolen asked with a raised eye brow.

" Fine I won't ask again" Nolen said smiling. And with that they all took off on the road again.

Destiny chuckled as they walked along than blushed about his comment before chuckling again. "Uh huh sure! That's exactly what you meant to say," she said winking playfully at him before she could stop herself. When they went silent she shook her head at herself. Remember the bet Des, you don't want Azal to win AND have to drive your car. But than again...who says I have to tell her everything that happens here, she thought to herself chuckling inwardly. She laid her hand into Kevin's smiling at him as he helped her over the fallen tree. "You should come up sometime. It's beautiful there...especially during the christmas holiday. Like walking in a huge winter wonderland," she said smiling remembering the times as a little girl where her parents would take her and azalea for a walk around Times Square during Christmas. To her that was the best place in the world.


Destiny stopped amazed at the view before her. Sure New York was pretty and sightful to see but there was nothing like this here. She shook herself back to reality than smiled sitting down beside Kevin, so close she could feel their shoulders brushing against each others. "This would be the one thing I hate about living in a big city. We have beautiful sights to see but nothing like this," she said quietly as if not wanting to disturb the silence around here. "This is absolutely breath taking," she said than turned to look at him, "thank you for sharing this spot with me." She smiled at him....resisting the urge to squeeze his hand or something...like it was something she could normally do. Why does everything about him seem....familiar? Why does it feel like I've done it before? she thought to herself not realizing she was still looking at him.

Kevin grinned slightly, "If you say so Ma'am." He said then a silence fell between the two after they had both sat down Kevin smiled slightly as he felt their shoulders touch. For some reason he felt the urge to just reach over and hold her hand, wrap her in his arms, and hold her close. He glanced over at her and saw that she was already looking at him and he chuckled slightly, "I don't know why...but for some reason it seems like I know you from somewhere but I have never seen you in my entire life." He said quietly as he stretched his arm slightly. "And as for coming to New York, I hear its beautiful around Christmas, I wouldn't mind that too much. I was actually thinking of visiting there after college, but then pops died and all of my plans changed" He said quietly as he thought back to everything that had happened. He had to drop out of college, meaning that he had to also drop out of his NROTC course, and now he spent everyday of his life doing something he didn't really have any intrest in.

He felt their hands touch but he didn't want to pull it away, it felt so right, like he had done it before but he hadn't. After a few minutes went by he pulled his hand away and placed it on his lap and tapped his fingers gently, trying to pull himself together. He couldn't explain how he felt right now, but everything felt perfect. Kevin smiled slightly as he glanced back over at her, "So far you're the only other person that knows about this place, don't be telling anyone now." He said sarcastically as he felt his nervousness leave.
