Travis watched Cromin head his way, when the man was in his line of view, and when the Captain was within hearing distance, “I think we have stumped upon the source of our headache and the Savage situation,” he tipped his head towards what lay beyond the open door, “The Penal Colony.”
Shifting Zarlenka, Travis nodded at Gaius, “If anything happens to my third in command, I’ll ensure you there be hell to pay.”
Gaius looked a little offended but agreed, “Yes, yes,” he also sounded a little annoyed, at the Major. Just who in the planet he thinks he is, Gaius fumed.
Satisfied with the answer, Travis motioned for Cromin to follow.

They arrived just as the duck colours began to paint the sky in the wonderful shades of orange, yellows and red, pretty much like it was back home. They approached the main entry point. Checking with Kirov to make sure he was okay, Travis looked at Cromin, “Stay alert Captain,” he shifted his P-90 and his finger on the trigger just in case things went south.
Approaching the guard, “We have been sent here by...the leader of that,” he pointed to the village, “place. I’m here to find out why the entire village is accusing a member of my team of something she hasn’t done.”
The guard looked at his superior, who nodded to let the three men in, Gesturing to Kirov and Cromin; Oxford took the lead into entering the place. They passed the almost 80 feet wall, which alone seemed several inches thick in width. Stopping where the path met the open wide area, Oxford looked and judged the faces around the place and those who seemed to be prisoners wearing dull gray attire.
Some faces were familiar and he wasn’t sure why, but it wasn’t until he spotted few faces he had met, the Commanding Officer could only let out a string of colourful words from his vocabulary. For one face....no better make that two, when he saw XO of a certain team, he knew that Garcia was going to have his head. Turing to face the supervisor of the place, “You want to explain all this to me?” he grunted as he threw his thumb back at the crowd.
“I don’t understand what you mean?” he was baffled as he could be.
“Half the faces here are part of the expedition I’m with. Yet we have never been here before this visit. So how are they here?” he asked. The general was going to have a field day with this.
“I think we solved one mystery and stumbled upon another. What you think?” he asked the captain.
