Nodding over towards Nolen in agreement. “Not a problem Nolen.” Getting the comms ready he activated them. “This is Major Patrick Bailey is everyone else alright?” A few moments passed and they received reports from everyone else on the ship saying everything was alright so far and nothing else went wrong though to Patrick something was terribly wrong he could see Lieutenant Colonel Harrison on the floor and not waking up turning towards the pilots he spoke. “Until Lieutenant Colonel Harrison can resume command as he has not woken yet I’m taking immediate command of the Icarus.” Patrick explained he knew that once the medical staff took care of Harrison he would be up on his feet soon but now they needed to get things underway. Getting back on the comms he activated a ship wide commutation. “This is Major Patrick Bailey Lieutenant Colonel Harrison has collapsed and hasn’t woken yet medical is on their way. Until the Lieutenant Colonel is back on his feet I’m taking command also can Doctor Siobhan Kells please report to the bridge immediately.” Patrick finished explaining to the ship of the current situation he looked over towards the pilots and nodded he was about to speak when an officer shouted out. “Unknown ships are powering up weapons and preparing for an attack” The officer shouted and Patrick nodded. Turning back towards the pilots Patrick spoke once more. “Nolen it looks like they want to play after all. Scramble the F-302s and prepare to fire back.” Patrick explained to the pilots. “Unknown ships are preparing for attack run.” The same officer yelled out. “Power up shields.” Patrick yelled out. “All personnel brace for impact.” Patrick explained to the crew as the unknown ships flew closer towards the Icarus.

Nolen spun to see Patrick in control of the bridge, "Roger that Sir" he replied. "Des, Jas come on you two I'm going to need all my best pilots up in the air". Nolen then tapped his Mic again "Prophet, Wild Fox Launch damn you launch now before you get trapped in". Nolen then fell foward as the ship was hit with some weapon. He got up with the help of Des and Jason and then they continued.

Nolen got to his Fighter as the next blast hit the ship. "How we going thier Lisa, All good" he asked his RIO. "All green like I'll be if we don't get out soon." she replied. Nolen laughed and then gave the order for the three remaning fighter to take off.

Once Nolen had joined up with the other fighters he ordered them to plit into pairs. "Okay boys and Girls I don't want any heroics out thier just stick with me and will all get back alive" he said then started calling out the pairs. Des and him, Jas and Leon and Cromin with Simon.

Before Jason could reply to either Silverwing's or Dragon's comments, the alarm bells went off and Jason sighed. He was able to stop Destiny from falling over before they turned and headed to the Bridge. Things happened so fast around him and Jason just followed orders. He was soon ordered to follow Nolen to the Hanger Bay.

"Yes, sir," was all Jason able to reply, as they rushed to the Hanger Bay.

Jason hurried over to his 302 and got suited up. He shot his RIO Talia a warning look before she could say anything. Talia pouted, but remained silent to Jason's relef. Once he was ready he jumped into his 302, and checked everything was okay. When he was given the go ahead, Jason took off and got into the right formation.

Siobhan was on the bridge in no time , She didn't run just move at a fast pace . All she could think was , this better be important . She was surprised she even found her way to the bridge .
As soon as she saw the commander on the ground , She dropped to her knee's .
Siobhan let a shout to the nearest person . "Report what happened , "

As the person briefed her she took out a small torch and shined it in to his eye's as she lifted the left eye lid .
" Commander you OK," She said in a high tone and slow for him to make out " What happened Commander . You miss your nap time ."

Her first task was to make sure he was OK , All do for the pale face nothing seemed wrong . His eyes respond in the way they meant to and pupils seem OK . She drifted her hands around his head looking for any bumps .
She let a call to an aid " Take him down , give him a full check and don't give him anything until I arrive ."

Siobhan let a shout " Bailey I'll keep you update ," She left it short as he had his hands busy .

In a matter of minutes, every thing changed. The ships were now wanting to play and still, only Nolen and Harrison knew what was seen on the screen. Before anything could be said, Nolen told Jason and Destiny that it was time to fly. The pilot nodded, then turned seeing the Doctor arrive. "It's about time you got here! He better be okay by the time this whole thing is done and usually nine times out of ten when there is a page aboard here, it is serious!" she snarled, handing over the Lieutenant Colonel, pushing herself up then following Jason and Nolen.

Destiny wasted no time running over to her F-302 and climbing in. "Everything ready to go?" the captain asked the RIO from behind, Charisma Myers. The first RIO the young pilot had died back in the battle on the Delta site months ago. At first it was hard to come back and get a new one, but Charisma was just as good as her job and was not trying to replace Faye. Though Destiny missed Faye at times, it was still good to have Charisma around. "All systems are go Des. Let's do this," came Charisma's strong voice from the back. The auburn hair girl nodded her head then started up her fighter, following behind Dragon and Wood.

Hearing Dragon come in through the radio, a smirk widen on the young female's face. "You know how to take all the fun out of things. Now what did Lola always say? Oh right, rodger that gold leader," she stated smiling through the radio. Through back before the battle, they always might have joked over the radio during fights, they still were focused. Sometimes jokes did help relieve the little bit of fears that were always evident, at least in Destiny it was.

Just as Captain Cromin waited for a response from what seemed like an eternity, Major Patrick came on the comms and after that the squardron leager gave his command "Prophet, Wild Fox Launch damn you launch now before you get trapped in" and that was what he needed. He turned to Fox and said "We have a go, get your birds in the air."

He next looked up to flight controll with his hand up in the air and moviing like a chopper - "OPEN UP!" he jumped into his 302, got on the radio and adressed blue and black squad - "Number 1, Remember boys and girls always stay in radio contact, Number 2, always stay with your wing man, number 3, closest ships first- go after weapons first and then hyperdrive engines. Destroy only as a last resort, that is if it is you or them, I choose you. Lastly, nobody, i repeat nobody dies until i give that order, kapish?" KAPISH! they responded "We have a go, - GO, GO, GO!"

He flew his 302 into space first as the rest of blue squad followed. He got on his radio and said "Listen up people, this is what we do, have fun." As soon as he finished talking he made a B-line towards the closest ship to the Icarus"Blue 2, this is Blue leader here, cover me- I am going in for a closer look, over? Blue 2 responded - "Roger that Sir, covering you over?" "Copy that, Blue 2, here we go again" and with that, he headed to the closest ship - "All Pilots this is blue leader - do not fire, I repeat do not fire, fly at a safe distance, I need to take a closer look at this ship" and as he flew closer he noticed the hangar bay doors opening. "Icarus, this is blue leader, it seems like their hangay bay door is opening, WHAT DO YOU RECOMMEND?"

Following their unexpected drop from hyperspace, Aleksandr had made his way to his post in the main engineering room. The moment he walked in he was greeted with a scene of pure chaos, engineers and crew were running from one side of the room to the other, trying to figure out what the hell was going on, and what had brought the ship out of hyperspace all of a sudden. "What happened?" Kamarov demanded.

"We dropped out chief," replied an engineer, "Hyper drive overload warning was tripped and killed the drives, but we can't find any evidence that there was an overload in the first place. We just dropped out..." The engineer trailed off, and returned to his station, unsure what to make of the situation. Aleksandr was just as confused; why would the engines declare an emergency and shut down if there was no emergency in the first place?

Moving to his terminal, Kamarov began to scan the fleet of unknown vessels. They were all of the same star-shaped design; a design unrecognized by the ships database, although he'd need to double checked with the secured Asgard mainframe in order to confirm this. A scan revealed very little atmosphere within the hulls of the ships; either they'd vented it all from damage, or whatever was aboard them didn't need oxygen to breath. The high presence of silicon in the construction of the vessel confirmed his suspicion that they may be dealing with an alien life form here, probably silicon based. In the past the SGC had dealt with the sulfur-based Gadmeer species, and many had hypothesized silicon-based lifeforms, although this could be the first confirmed sighting.

Nolen watched in terror as the Ship's beam weaponed fired at them. He closed his eyes and awaited the sheer pain that would follow. He waited a few seconds then opened his eyes again. The first thought that came to his head was, Why am I not dead yet. After catching his breath his second thought was more of a logical one. He tapped the radio to the Icarus, "Bailey, I don't think it was firing at us. If I'm not wrong I think it was scanning us with some sort of scanner. How is Harrison. Guys I would like to get a recon team on board to explore and see if we can learn more. Bailey can you get two Jumpers ready in the bay. I'll also need some of the Flight crew and maybe the Doc to if she can be spared. Dragon Out"

He then flipped to the Squadron Frequency, "Alright Guys I want Cromin, Fox, Wood and Andre to go back with me we are going with the Recon Team. The rest stay up here and monitor the ship. Okay Guys you have your orders." Nolen said as he turned his fighter back.

Nolen walked in to the hanger dressed in the usual combat dress with vest. He had his side arm and a P-90 with him as well as his trusty knife behind his back. He walked towards the small group that had gathered at the waiting two jumpers.

As soon as he laned in the hangar bay of the Icarus, thay had his gear ready. He went into the little locker room they had there, changed and was ready except for one thing, they handed him a P-90; not that there was anything wrong with that but he has been a fan of the SCAR-H of late, so he asked for that and they brought it to him. He checked his side arm, everything was good but there was no ZAT

"Lieutenant, I have a problem, my cocktail is ussually different from others, pls take note. I carry a hand gun and a ZAT and of late I prefer the SCAR-H to the P-90, something about bigger ammo piercing rounds"

they handed it to him and he said "thank you, lieutenant - i appreciate this."

and with that he was ready to go. He walked towards one of the jumpers and he sat in the pilot's chair doing some pre-flight checking.

Aleksandr's scan of the unknown craft had returned some curious results. The ships were void of any form of radiation or energy signature; no evidence of conventional mechanics or electronics could be found on the ships - is was as though they were organic in nature. The outside of the ships lacked any form of engine outputs, although in an interesting turn of events the Russian was able to detect a faith gravitational attraction and repulsion between the mass of vessels, emanating from nodes on the tips of their 'wings'. Although an early and radical theory, Kamarov was beginning to believe the ships used some form of organism to create and manipulate an artificial gravity field around the ships, allowing them to move in a manner not too unlike the conventional drive unit on the Icarus. It was unlike anything he'd ever seen before!

Weapons and shield subsystems were so far invisible, though the large amount of gravity nodes suggested some form of gravitational repulsion would shield the vessels from attacks. This theory was later confirmed when he tracked a piece of debris moving on a collision course with one of the ships; a micro-black hole formed in the path of the object, swallowing the destroying it. Just as quickly as it had formed, the black hole disappeared, again amazing Aleksandr with the nature of this ships.

Immediately upon making his findings, Aleksandr forwarded them to the bridge, and was instructed to proceed to the hanger bay. It seemed he was stepping out with the pilots...

Striding into the hanger, Kamarov approached the group of pilots assembled around the Asgard Puddle Jumper. Looking around, he saw that not only were the pilots here, but also the deck crew, engineers and medical personnel. It seemed old Colonel Harrison was preparing quite the away team to take a closer look at this vessels. Moving into the crowd, Aleksandr awaited further instructions.

As Siobhan walked in to Infirmary , Her second came up to her .

" We did a full check , all we need to do is a scan . But from what I found everything seems to be OK . From my exam he seemed to of fainted ." All Siobhan seem to to do was nod .

" I also kept it private , as much as I can . Only nurse Travers and me has been allowed to see him ."

"Good work Sam ," Glinting a slim from the edge of her mouth ." OK lets bring him around , Lets not pump him up just in case ."

Siobhan lifted his eye lids ," OK he seems to be coming around ." She placed one hand on the side of h" Captain , can you here me . Your in the Infirmary , " is face , She gave a few light slaps to his face , Hoping it bring him around .

Hansford had been running diagnostics everywhere he could, making sure that the ship wasn't a screwed as it was when the sabotage nearly destroyed the ship.

He'd pulled up images of the ships, he recalled seeing such ships in a report he read whilst at the Pentagon, it was from the Ida Task Force, he'd only just been given clearance to read the file weeks after being posted there, the creatures were silicon based, from what the Asgard database had said.

"Kamarov! I need you to pull up a report of the Ida Task Force mission, you probably won't have clearance to access it, so when you find it call me over!"

Both Kamarov and Hansford walked into the hanger, an away team had been assembled, there were two infact, Tony had his tablet ready for anything he needed to do to the Jumper to make it more efficient for any reasons, he walked up to Nolen, who was his Jumpers pilot, "Nolen, of this team, I'm probably the most qualified person to fix or upgrade this Jumper on the fly, as well as flying it if you and your co-pilot are incapacitated, this is entirely your choice, I've flown Jumpers and racked up over about 100 hours of flight time during my time with the Stargate Program, still, upto you", Tony says as he awaits the mans reponse.

Waiting for the orders to move out, Aleksandr looked around the hanger of the Russian built vessel. As part of the original construction team he'd spend hours studying the blue prints of the American Prometheus - course the build team had never actually been allowed to step foot on the US ship, and had to instead work with undetailed blue prints and very limited photographs and video footage, seemingly to stop them from finding any technical flaws or weakness in the American ship that they could exploit. This paranoia certainly hadn't helped with the construction of the ship, and in many parts the Russians had been formed to create what they thought the ship should be like. As such many parts of the ships different to her American counterpart, and the flight deck was a prime example.

Adjusting the straps on his backpack, Kamarov waited impatiently. Next to him the Chief was bragging about his considerable experience with the usage of the Ancient runabouts. He was a good man, he just took a while to get used to, a typical US Marine attitude had originally turned Aleksandr off the man, but he was slowly warming.
