Conversations
In the original Delta RPG we found it hard to have convo's without firing back and forth two line posts *THANKFULLY* I learnt a way to do it When you want to have a convo with someone, type what you'd say and leave blanks for their responses. Best way to explain is an example, I've attached one below from Stargate: The Return. Doesn't have to be this long, and try to avoid forcing or limiting the conversation - try and keep it open to the other people's response. Use this technique if you like, but if you don't feel comfortable you won't need to, maybe just start small and build up
Emily had been working in her office for 10 minutes when she looked up and saw a man walk into the labs carrying a reasonably large crate. She watched as he looked around and started to look a little lost.
Emily got out of her seat, walked out of her room and into the labs and said "hello, can I help you? You're looking a little lost."
<Troy>
"I'm Dr Dawson. Please call me Emily though." Emily replied waiting for the man in front of her to introduce himself.
<Troy>
"What have you got there?" Emily asked pointing at the crate he was holding.
<Troy>
"I guess you better put it down then - before you strain something" Emily moved towards a table in the centre of the room "put it here" she said.
<Troy>
"Let's see what we have" Emily said and walked over to a drawer which held tools. Emily took out a crowbar and moved over to where the crate stood. "Would you like to do the honour?" Emily asked indicating that Troy should take the crowbar from her hands.
<Troy>
Emily watched as Troy prised open the lid to the crate and peered inside. Emily could see very much, so she placed her hands on it. It felt smooth where her hands touched. She then proceeded to move her hands over the surface of the object - it was then that she felt grooves in the surface.
"Troy, can you please lift the object out of the crate and place it on the table?" Emily asked.
<Troy>
Emily watched as Troy lifted the object out of it's crate and place it on the table beside the crate, which Emily had nudged over a bit for more space.
"What is this?" Emily asked nobody in particular. Emily leaned in a little more and took a look at the object's surface. It looked like it was made out of a metallic substance, cobalt blue in colour and spherical in shape. On closer inspection, she saw that the object had a form of writing and series of pictographs over it. "Now I know why this had been sent to me!" Emily said excitedly.
<Troy??>

Troy's reply
0800 hrs Day Two Xeno Labs
Troy opened his mouth to call out to see if anyone was around when he heard a voice behind him.
"Hello, can I help you? You're looking a little lost."
Troy, startled slighty by the unexpected voice, turned and saw a dark haired women walking into the lab.
"I'm Dr Dawson. Please call me Emily though."
"Hi, I'm Second Lieutenant Loveridge, EDMC...." He paused, hell she seemed like a nice enough girl. "...Call me Troy."
"What have you got there?" she asked.
"Yesterday the Commander had a vision; the Ancient sent him down to the planet surface to recover someone or check some thing out or I don't know, do something. Apparantly the front view shield of the jumper collapsed and it flooded, then the auto pilot returned to base some time later. When they found the jumper he was clutching this in his hands. Had a note like "Take to Zeno" or something on it, so Lieutenant Commander Vale asked me to bring it to you." explained Troy, trying to hide the strain the heavy box was having on him.
"I guess you better put it down then - before you strain something"
Troy placed the box on the table where she indicated and stepped back, wiping the thin line of sweat from his brow.
"Let's see what we have" Emily said and walked over to a drawer which held tools. Emily took out a crowbar and moved over to where the crate stood. "Would you like to do the honour?" Emily asked indicating that Troy should take the crowbar from her hands.
"My pleasure ma'am." he said, and taking the crowbar began the work the top of the crate. It came open easy, and he stepped back once he'd opened it to allow her to take a look. Emily reached in and seemed to be feeling the object.
"Troy, can you please lift the object out of the crate and place it on the table?" she asked, stepping back from the table.
Troy reached into the crate to recover the object. It felt smooth to the touch, but he also felt grooves running across it's surface. He managed to get his fingers under the object enough to get a good grip, and lifted it out and placed it on the bench.
"What is this?" "Now I know why this had been sent to me!" Emily said excitedly.
Troy rounded the table to the other side and examined the object himself. It's surface was covered with writing and pictographs, though he couldn't make heads or tails of it.

Tagging
Sometimes you may want a certain person to reply/act after your post. To indicate if you'd like someone in particular to post next place:
< Tag Name >
And include the person's name, i.e. if you'd like Frank to reply to your post next, add:
<Tag Frank >
Try to avoid going overboard, and if it's been a couple of days and the person hasn't written back, just ignore it and continue just use with common sense.

Joint posts
If you'd like to have a massive convo with another character and can't be bothered using the <Name> technique above, write the convo between the two of you in the PM system or via Instant Messenger, and who ever posts it place:
